Keeps the temperature right for hours! It's been couple of months no issues.

I think this is going to be my go to flash for life :)Amazing locking system and doesn't leak.Been a while since I have been using it and doesn't stink either. I use it for black coffee. I dont remember putting milk in it yet. Easy to wash as well... :)

Very Disappointed – Not Worth the HypeI had high hopes for the Contigo coffee tumbler, but sadly it has been a huge letdown. The product description promises heat retention, but in reality, it barely keeps your drink warm for 45 minutes. The most frustrating part is that once you unlock it for the first sip, the heat starts escaping rapidly, and within 10 minutes, your hot beverage turns lukewarm at best.For a tumbler that claims to be premium and travel-friendly, it completely fails to meet basic expectations. If you’re someone who wants your coffee or tea to stay hot for even 2 hours, this is not the product for you. Definitely not worth the price or the hype. Deceptive and disappointing.

Bought the first one in 2008 and another in 2012 (both on Amazon.com). Both were great travel mugs. If you want a travel mug with following features: that is one keeps the drink warm for 4-5 hrs, does not leak and is easy to drink from (like while driving): This is the one to buy. Bonus: It will last a long time. If you want all three features, this is the one. One minor quibble: The 2008 version was hard to clean, 2012 version had a cap to clean the inside of the top lid. I believe this is the newer one and is probably even better (haven't tried them). Around 6-8 years, the rubber starts to become soft and later will start to disintegrate. It's so well made that, I even fought of would be thieves with it :).Tip 1: If you don't want the color to peel, then get a stainless steel/silver color one. Usually peels around 2-3 years when not using dishwasher.Tip 2: It is not a flask, that is you don't care about ease of drinking but needs something that will keep drink HOT for quite a few hours and does not leak: this is not the one you want.
