I use these for very clever cats who have taught me to lift up on the latch handle to open the door. I have these on both sides of the same door to keep them out of areas they should not be in and they have worked like a charm. I have had to educate humans as they visit on how to operate the door which only tells me they are doing their job well. Definitely recommend, these are amazing for controlling overly curious, clever, problem-solving cats.

So this is easy to assemble cause you just stick it on your door. Also the quality is really nice and doesn't feel cheap. It does appear pretty sturdy as well. I use this for my grandmother who has dementia and to do be fair my friends and other family members struggle with it too so it's great for dementia family members. Be careful I do use other door locks with it to confuse my grandmother. She use to rip them off but now with multiple locks and some fake cobweb and fake spiders I have finally the perfect combination to deter her from the door! Muhahahahaha.Again I like the lock. Its weird to deal with but you get use to it and remember that's the point.
