Excellent Adhesion to Acoustic Foam Panels – Cannot Remove Without Damaging Drywall
A couple reviewers stated that the double-sided tape for acoustic foam panels sticks to walls, but not to the foam panels. Another reviewer stated that it peeled the paper on his drywall walls when he removed it. Well, I decided to put the tape to the test.First, I secured the tape to the foam panels. Note, you can’t just lightly press the panel against the tape and expect it to hold. That isn’t how it works. You have to forcefully compress the foam against the tape. If you do that, you’ll get a good bond. I then hung the foam panel by a single taped corner and left it there for four days. It held beautifully with just one corner supported.Next, I tried to carefully remove the tape from the wall. You can see the result in the pictures. The tape is still securely attached to the foam panel, so much so that it is very difficult to remove. It also is still securely attached to most of the paper from the drywall, but the paper is no longer on the wall. So, do these double-sided tape sections securely hold the acoustic foam panels to the wall? If you install them properly, yes, they do. Are they able to be removed from painted drywall without damaging the drywall? Absolutely not.Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? They’re excellent for permanently mounting acoustic foam panels to your wall. Permanently. Don’t expect to remove them unless you’re going to refinish your wall.

Works well and is easy to peel
These work well and are easy to detach from the backing material and are easier on the walls than a full adhesive surface on the back of something like an acoustic panel. Not going to take the place of something more heavy duty on an item that weighs more than a few ounces but they do work well for light objects and do not seem to harm the wall.

Double sided foam panel tape squares, press firmly, smooth surfaces only
I can well imagine several different used for these... double sided, super sticky, slight padding, peel and stick. They'll stick to any smooth surface. In my case, used them for foam and also lined acoustical tiles - onto glass, drum cage plastic shield, painted wall, plywood. I found that I had more luck keeping the sticky stuck when it was a truly smooth surface. I ended up painting the plywood with gloss rattle can paint, then sticking the panels to it once dry. To get it to stick to the foam, you really have to press hard down on it - making sure to contact all the foam fibers/edges as you possibly can. Mash it good. The panels have been staying up now for a couple weeks. So good to go. Way easier to use that other options. No smell.

Easy to use
These are very simple and easy to use. Bot much easier to do than peel and stick. These are actually quite useful for anything lightweight to hang. You get quite a few for pricing- no complaints here.

Foam still fell
The stick does not last, but that could be due to weather change (heat, humidity, cold).
