The tips of the screws are slightly smaller than the rest of the screw. This makes it so much easier to thread.

Really nice plate. Bought these for new install of network and cable. Very easy to install and snap/click in the needed ports. The only reason I don't give it a 5 start is the smell of the plastic. Opened the bag and it is a VERY strong smell of "burnt plastic" (probably from manufacturing). However, let it air out or wash them and it can be mitigated. Once I run out of these, I would buy more.
