Black Hammer Mens Safety Boots S3 SRC Steel Toe Cap with Midsole Protection and are Anti-Slip - Ideal Work Boots for Men 9200

I was needing new boots for work and i found these available with a 60% discount. Bought a pair and am so glad i did. Very comfortable indeed. Bought a 2nd pair.

I'm about to lose count of how many pairs of Black Hammer boots I've owned. Almost all have had the same two niggles. With the exception of my last pair, they were all a size too big & came with rubbish laces that will snap, but they give you a second pair, cause they know they're terrible.Weirdly the last pair were the right size & only had one pair of laces that were actually good.So, figuring they'd addressed the size issue, I ordered my usual size 9....the 9s that arrived, are easily a 10, so there's a bit of movement within the boot, even when wearing chunky socks.The insoles are fine, BH have a habit of weird insoles, but this pair, there's no issue.Now, the main thing I look for when picking workboots, safety rating on the sole, I need S3 SRC soles, which these comply with, yes, there's the steel toe & midsole, but that's pretty much a given.BH have always had long lasting soles, they seem to do that very well, not sure these are quite as tough as usual, they're a bit more 'rubbery' than usual, so I'm thinking they won't last quite as long, but again, traction is higher on my checklist.It's quite a tough, course grained leather they've used, not a problem, they're workboots, not Italian shoes.Overall, a very competent boot, just beware of the sizing.

Not using them for heavy duty work and are great so far.

Bought in February, leather has worn completely through on toe of one boot, really poor quality, won’t buy this brand again. No doubt Amazon won’t refund. Back to Screwfix for me

Bought for a site job. Leather wore through on toe cap, heel has separated. Lasted just over 2 months. Definitely not fit for purpose
