Why did you pick this product vs others?:Clear view to align drill angle and multiple angles available. Product worked great. I made sure angle was aligned and do not overnight set screw. Great value.

Very simple jig that works well. I needed the 35 degree angle for my stair posts. I used the 3/16 metal slug in the hole and my 6" drill bit went through easily and accurately. 1/8 cable pulled through with ease when I was done drilling. If this had a bubble level somewhere in the middle I would have found that super helpful.

I had to modify mine to make a 35° drill hole. My stairs weren’t at the 30°. Modification was simple enough. I placed a drillbit in the 30° hole and set it on a flat surface. I then used a protractor and lifted up the end until the drillbit was at 35°. I then super glued, composite shims to the edge to maintain the angle.

Making it clear is genius! Using other blocks always has an element of blindness to it--not with this clear block. This block has so many more angles and sizes due to the use of standard sized holes with individually sized inserts.

The media could not be loaded. Fair warning! This jig has alot of play.It is a solid and heavy block which is good.But with that much play you won't be drilling at the angles you'd expect. A few degrees off can make the difference depending on what your working on.

Muzata makes a fantastic line of products for doing cable railing. One of the easiest places to get it wrong is drilling the holes through your posts, and this drill guide looked to be the perfect fit. I love that there are lines one all sides to help you center your hole. My main issue was that after repeated use with a drill bit included in a different Muzata product, the bit must've gotten too hot and expanded. It seized up in the hole and while trying to extract the bit it took the metal guide sleeve out with it. Instantly made the drill guide and bit unusable in one go. I guess the sleeves aren't anchored into the guide as well as they could be if they'll come out that easily.

I used this on a cable stair railing project after having made my own and wearing it out. Very accurate. Easy to use. Solid build quality. Paid for itself in the time it saved me.
