Despite its small size, the airflow is strong and very controlled, and it gets the job done quickly — I’ve cut down my usual drying time by a noticeable amount.What stood out most was the noise level — it’s not silent, but the sound is much softer and lower-pitched than most dryers I’ve used. It doesn’t have that loud, high-pitched whine. The build quality is excellent too; it feels sturdy and high-end, and the cord and buttons all seem durable and responsive.In terms of functionality, this dryer hits all the marks: quick drying, precise airflow, comfortable grip, and reliable heat control. Sure, it's expensive, everything Dyson does seems to be. Still, an exceptional product. Performance is outstanding. The one big drawback is the 'don't coil the cord' mandate. Makes daily storage a hassle.

I bought this because my sister has one and when I stay with her I always use hers instead of mine so I just decides to bite the bullet and get one. Dries my hair so fast, easy to use with various heat and speed options and travels better than my old big hair dryer. Works perfectly!

I read reviews to determine which brand for this type of hair dryer was the best. I am really disappointed.My hair is not particularly curly or wavy, pretty much straight. I spend significant time sectioning my hair to dry it properly but this dryer doesn't work any better than the $39.00 dryer I have been using. Hair comes out bushy and frizzy. It does not leave hair smooth, with nice finish. I still have to flat iron my hair to give it that polished look. Hair dryer is heavier when using than presented by the information. I received the dryer a couple of weeks before going out of town for 3 weeks. I missed the window for returning the product. Now I'm out a considerable amount of money that I normally wouldn't have spent of a hair dryer. I feel like I was miss led!

I have gone through several of these type of Dyson hair dryers.My first one I bought was about 13 years ago. The first one was used by several family members and then it decided it had had enough.Others my kids wanted so I would buy another.This one I bought only had the attachment I wanted. I didn't have to buy attachments that I never used. This one has a lower decibel level. It doesn't sound like I'm using a leaf blower.Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for the attachment that I use the most.Dyson makes great stuff. I even own a Dyson rechargeable vac.

Works great, dries my hair very quickly, keeps my very fine hair smooth and soft, super lightweight and easy to manage as well as a good size for travel.

Excellent quality! It dries my hair very fast and it leaves it extremely shiny. With the fly away/straightener attachment provides salon quality finish without the high heat.
