Works well on bulk material bags
I have used this a few times now on bulk bags of washed sand and this has been pretty nice to unload. Once put together, it has a metal point to puncture the bag such that this gets inserted in the bag and forms an exit which has shutters to open and close it. It is much more controlled that other methods like cutting the bag.

It does work
This big bag dispenser looks exactly as advertised and it did work in the end as it supposed to. However, the one I got did not have sharp enough pointy end to puncture the bag so some significant force had to be applied for the dispenser to go through. After that all worked well. So more sharp point would be appreciated, but it still worked in the end.
