Made very cute curtains with this fabric. Two pieces were sufficient for a 52 inch square window, with 25 per cent extra fullness for the width. There was no excessive fraying. This fabric can be gathered, ruffled, or pleated very easily. I would not recommend this fabric as material for young child's jammies because this fabric has not been treated with fire retardant. As the daughter of a doctor who worked in a Burn Unit through the 70s 80s and 90s I prefer the toxicity of treated fabrics. Untreated cotton goes up like a torch if touched with even a spark. Even nylon is better than untreated cotton as nylon will melt downwards and will at least spare the face. I am enjoying this fabric as curtains. I have used polyester thread, with tension control much reduced, to prevent bunching. This is reasonably thick flannel but not too thick. Folded over twice to enclose seams, looks very nice and not at all bulky.

Highly recommend the supplier. I received it packaged nicely and the quality was excellent. I sew quite a bit and was concerned it might not be a good value. The quality was excellent and the fabric was not "old".

The media could not be loaded. Loved the quality, the fabric given was the perfect amount, I even have some left over. Used it to create my own big bow tie for my costume.

I searched a long time to find a nice, medium-weight, 100% cotton, dyed and woven flannel. I really needed darker colors, and it took a long time to locate this one by Pico Textiles. I also needed a wide fabric and this fit the bill all the way around. I bought 3 yds and am very happy with the purchase. The fabric is really wonderful and did not shrink or bleed in a hot water wash. The softness will be so nice on cold winter nights as it will be used as a lightweight blanket. This colors on this flannel are really bright and did not fade in the wash. Highly recommend for clothing, sheets, tablecloth, blankets, etc.

Very Soft Cotton & the tartan pattern looks just like the photo. I’m quite happy with it as it suits my kilt making purposes. I’m not sure if this is what is traditionally used for kilts (I think it’s meant to be a stiffer cotton?) but our whole family has texture issues so this is a wonderful fabric to get the look without the discomfort :)

I didn’t realize the fabric was a flannel but I kept it and will use it somehow!

This material is very good. The description only states that it is a medium weight material. I wish they would list the actual weight, because it turned out to be lighter than expected. We will not be able to use it for the original project, but we like the material, and decided to keep it for other projects. It's good, and I would recommend it. It is the weight you would expect to use for making shirts.
