in Car Windscreen Suction Mount Holder for Garmin Nuvi 2400 series 2415 2440 2445 2415LT 2445LMT 2455LMT 2455LT 2460LT 2475LT 2495LMT GPS Sat Nav BDM (TM)

Although recommended for Nuvi 2440 it did not fit mine, which has a row of connectors at the bottom, the original mount also having a connector for the car charger. However, as I only really needed the suction part, which did fit the original mount which I still had, I was satisfied with the purchase at a reasonable price.

Bought this to replace one that my wife thoughtfully left in a rental car as a gift to the next driver. Not sure how the recipient of that gift got on with the Garmin original but I have to say I was delighted with this replacement, it is slightly smaller than the original (a good thing for packing when travelling) but I have actually found it plenty strong enough to hold my sat-nav and I believe it adheres to the window better than the Garmin original product. Was not expecting great things after reading the somewhat mixed reviews but my experience has been awesome, very good price, extremely quick delivery and a great product that exceeded all expectations.

Does not fit the 2415LT as stated. Holder is too big and had to use a blob of blutac to fill the gap to make it hold. Nevertheless at £3 it does the job.

Arrived very quickly. Looks like the original. However falls of the screen from time to time, which did not happen with the original. Maybe I was unlucky with my one. What you pay is what you get I guess.

I bought this to replace I'd left in an hire car. Big mistake! I received it ok but when TRYING to attach it to the screen, it wouldn't stick. On inspection I noticed a split in the suction pad so I got a replacement. That didn't work either. I checked it for any problems but couldn't see any probs. None, it just did not work.. Ended up buying a Garmin suction pad from Garmin instead.

Easy operation

Sadly I made an error in my order, should have been the 2500 series, which shares the same suction mount but a different size bracket. This unit looks just as good as the original Garmin Mount, for which you will pay at least 3 times the amount of this one. I had to return it and the company refunded me without any hassle at all.

I have had two of these, both of which broke within months - each time, a small part snapped off the holder so it no longer attaches to the mount. I haven't broken any previous sat nav holders, so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong.Seller was helpful, providing the second at a discount but there's no point in buying a third when the first two didn't last!
