Jewellers Tools1" chasing hammer Repouse ball pein planishing metal 24mm face

I was a trained engraver many years ago and have all my old tools except the hammer. This looked the closest to my original one except the handle looked too big, which it was. It was so beautifully made with a superb hardwood that I didnt have the heart to just cut it down, so I removed it and made a new one!. I'm sure to use this eventually.

Brilliant size, ideal for workshops. Good value for money.. I will be ordering three more. Arrived before due date.. thumbs up

Got this little hammer for a one of job , had a little sheet of copper that I was making in to something and I lacked a small hammer for the job. For the price I paid I was expecting to grind the face flat and polish smooth but the little hammer was ready to use straight out of the packet.

Only used a few times and just starting out silver smithing but it’s a good weight as well as nice to hold.Very pleased and a good price

Lighter than I imagined.Hardly a pistol grip handle and I'm a bit dubious about the wood used.The head is not fixed to the handle as picture indicates.Having said all that will use it with care and I might be surprised.

I haven't used it yet, but I can tell it's a nice looking and well finished / good quality hammer.I'm looking forward using it :)

Pretty well made and great for small delicate work. Good value.

In my last review i stated it was chrome plated, it is not it is just highly polished finish. An excellent hammer for the price! The head is NOT hardened, but this does not matter so much in a chasing hammer.
