Excellent quality
Many years back, when I worked in a restaurant, I witnessed someone slice their fingertip off, which led my boss to purchase this type of glove. Fast forward 20+ years and I realized I needed a glove like this for home use, as I was doing a lot more of the cooking, including using a mandolin (extremely dangerous if you're not being super careful). I bought this one to replace the fabric ones I bought a year or so ago that didn't really fit me very well (too snug) and have been very impressed with the quality of this glove. I also tried to cut and then prick myself with my sharpest knife and was unable to, so I think I should be good to go for a while with safety gloves.

A good fit, but light duty
This is a good fit, but I was actually looking for something a bit heavier duty. These are not much more than wire, but should work okay for filleting.

Cut resistant gloves protect from injury
These gloves work as advertised. Used them with a project, and the scissors slipped while sharpening. The gloves did the job and protected my hands. They are light-weight and versatile. So, you can still work comfortably while wearing them. I strongly recommend this product.

This is a single glove, not a pair. The second glove is a cloth glove. The instructions in German??
I have not used the glove yet, that is, I have not slipped with my knife yet! ...but it seems to be able to do the job I need it for, which is for the protection of my fingers and hand when carving with very sharp knives. I am also a knife maker and am always handling sharp steel. I was quite surprised to find just one stainless steel glove in the package when the product description clearly uses the plural with no mention that the glove is designed for both right and left hand use. There is only one size offered...large...which is a little tight for me but no fault of the supplier. The second glove supplied is made of some sort of fabric, Since all the directions on the package is in what looks like German, I am unable to tell what the second glove is made of. So beware that the price is really just for one safety glove, so if you need to protect both hands there may be another more reasonably priced product for an actual pair. I would strongly advise sellers of these gloves to clarify their description that there is just one safety glove.

Metal Glove Prevents Knife Injuries While Cutting
In 65 years, I have had virtually no kitchen hand injuries using knives. Recently, I've had two severe injuries, almost losing finger tips when the knife didn't cut, hung, and then released uncontrollably into my hand. Yes, my knives were razor sharp, but onions can be unstable when there's not much left to cut. These rapidly accelerating knife injuries results in deep finger cuts and a lot of blood. I was lucky to only lose a thumb nail on my second accident. I decided enough was enough and ordered a metal mesh cut resistant glove for my left hand. This comes as two gloves in one package. There is an inner cotton glove for comfort. The outer glove is basically chain mail. Does it work? Yes, quite well. There's ZERO chance of a knife cutting my hand again.I also like that the glove comes in a plastic case with a slide closure. It works very well and fits into a kitchen drawer easily. Is this glove perfect? Not quite. I found that the snap on adjustment strap is garbage, so I just completely removed the thing. The glove fits perfectly fine without it.
