The battery came very quickly. They had projected a 3 to 4 day arrival but by the next day it was already at my doorstep! Snapped in the battery and right away it gave me at least two hours of juice available to it. I followed the sheet included and it Charged very quickly for a full load. I use this on a very very old Dell laptop and it actually improved and sped up my programs loading that I still use on it. It holds a charge quite well and charges very quickly. I am very impressed with the product and it was definitely money well spent! I may get another one eventually just to have a backup to slap in and go. I love my old Dell laptop because it's a touchscreen and it's almost at 18 inches viewable so I can take my laptop to shows and show my artwork (I'm a professional illustrator) on a Scrolling screensaver as I have it set up on my table tops.

After several years of use, my original (OEM) Dell battery was running down to quickly. I was lucky to get 2 hours of run time. It was even less when running a high demand application like streaming video. This newly purchased one, easily clicked right in. It immediately bumped the available run time from two hours to four hours. If one needs extra long run times with no AC power access, order two of these. They are so easy to change out, two fully charged batteries would probably get you through a whole work day.

The title says inspiron 15 3000 series battery but this does not fit. Wrong description and title of the product. I made the mistake of not checking within return window but others should check immediately

Have been using it for 2 months with no problems. I haven't used it for more than a couple of hours on battery power at a stretch, so I can't say how long it might last. However, it has hardly needed recharging afterward.
