Worked great for reenactment
I occasionally ally go to viking reenactments. I was a bit of a pinch and needing leg wraps. These wormed so well. If you wrap the legs well enough you shouldn't need the pins. Ide say a good length. Good quality. Ide buy again. Wish there was more colors.

Wrap is good, pin is awful.
You get what you pay for, and the wraps do their job. No issues there. The real issue is the pin. They snapped incredibly easily. Essentially, you don’t have pins unless you manipulate the broken pieces to cinch the wrap.

Close to authenticity
Not tartan, but they are very warm and do what they’re intended: keeping your trousers secured against the turnshoe and your legs warm.

Lovely wool blend fabric, neatly finished, even better in person. Very long. Pins look great.
KUOIN Medieval Men's Leg Wraps Viking Brooch Pirate Cosplay Costume 138 inchWe got these for a Ren Faire costume and they're perfect. They really elevate the costume and make it instantly more realistic. I love the fabric, a wonderful wool blend woven fabric in a beautiful earthy dark brown. They are very long, honestly long enough that I could cut each in half and still have enough to wrap both of my large calves very comfortably. They're finished all around with serging to prevent fraying. Not exactly period accurate, but this will make them last much longer, and the thread used blends so well you really don't even notice it--it's much more subtle looking that the pictures show. In fact, they look better than pictured all around, a rarity! When I was looking up tips on wrapping, I was surprised to learn that such wraps were used at least from antiquity up until they mid-20th century across many cultures and continents. The Wikipedia page showed 4th century Roman mosaics to an Iron Age Danish bog mummy, to photos of American servicemen in WWI. All this to say that they'll make a nice accessory for a pretty broad range of costumes. I understand why they're not bias cut (because a straight-grain cut isn't limited in length and doesn't require seaming as a bias cut does), but I do wish these were bias cut, so they'd have some natural stretch to them. But I wasn't expecting it from the photos or description, and I'm extremely pleased with the fabric quality and the pins, so I'm not knocking them for that.
