Bought for showing Hebridean sheep. First appearance is outstanding and I'm looking forward to being in the ring with my sheep by my side on something other than white! Not sure if the size was in the description, in uk i normally buy 8mm or 6mm and this is bigger than that.So much too big for lambs. OK for shearling ewe and rams if they are on the bigger side and ok for senior ewes. Good for senior rams.

They are tough poly ropes and I’ve never had one break or pull apart. Used for goatskin sheep and llamas

Proud owner of 5 new sheep. This works well for moving momma and babies from barn to pasture. They are really a lot softer than expected straight from the package. The time it would take me to run to the hardware store coupled with the time to weave the ends into a slip halter - This rope halter is by far the cheaper way to go. Cheap only in price value - the time saving and quality of the product make this well worth the few bucks it cost.

Whomever "assembled" this one got it backwards so that when the thicker half of the muzzle loop is positioned over the top of the "nose", the lead comes out on the "off" side (right side) of the animal— the wrong side for normal leading— so I had to pull it apart and thread the end back through the loops the correct way. No big deal . . . it is made in China, after all (what do we expect?). But it is pretty, and the price is right! I ordered four more. I haven't put it on anybody yet, but I'm sure it will fit okay. I already had the Weaver's cow size halter. This one should fit the sheep, goats AND the bottle calf!
