Farmstead Apothecary Plant-Based Baby Powder- (Talc-Free) with Chamomile, Calendula & Lavender 4 oz (1 Pack)

I absolutely love this powder. I love the texture, the oh-so-light-and-airy lavender and calendula scent, and I love knowing that it's safe and not made from any toxic ingredients. I also love supporting a small business that handcrafts a product with such thought and care. I saw some complaints on here about how the container isn't easy to work with but I will give you my thoughts on it. The holes are small so you don't lose and waste it; so it doesn't come pouring out all at once, losing powder and dollars simultaneously. I have a perfect solution for application too, as I have sensory issues and I can't stand powder on my hands. I use a small glass sauce or dipping bowl (dollar store!) and a big fluffy, soft makeup brush. Hold powder (with opening over the bowl)at a downward slant in one hand and gently tap the side of it. I do this about 3 times. You can control the flow and get your desired amount of powder this way. Then I just dip the brush into the bowl gently, (tapping any excess back into the bowl) and apply where I like. It's fabulous for the bra line if you tend to get sweaty under the breasts or have sensitivities to certain fabrics. And with a makeup brush having a good length of handle, you can even apply to your back if needed. I also have to add, using this has cleared up my skin around this area too. I had a rash of skin tags out of nowhere before I got this powder. But using it daily for a couple weeks, my skin settled down and those skin tags are gone! Keep in mind that they were small ones, so I don't know how it works, or if it would help with larger ones. But I am going to try it on one I have now that I've seen its healing action on my skin. Yes it's a little expensive but this powder is magic, so to me it's worth it! I will buy again and again!

Newborn baby…fighting diaper rashes for the first month of life, spreading all the normal toxic rash creams all over him endlessly. Then I decided to try this powder and stoped the creams. He’s now 3 months old and hasn’t had a single rash in the last 2 months. And we no longer smear all the normal toxic diaper cream on him anymore either. This powder is amazing.

I am trying to work toward using only natural or organic products. This product was one of the first that I found when researching natural baby powders. I read the reviews, as we all normally do, saw that it was considered a small amount, and still decided to order it. When I received it, I was still shocked at how small it was despite the reviews warning me. It’s a very small container. Liken it to a large travel size instant of a normal sized bottle. I think the company should go up a few ounces at this price point. When I opened the package, I noticed it was bagged and the holes on top were supposed to be fully covered with a sticker, but weren’t. A couple holes were not. So, a bit of the powder had leaked into the bag. Given how small of an amount that you get, every bit if important. So far, I’ve used it twice. The smell is nice, but not overwhelming. It’s a very very soft powder, which I love. To be fully transparent, I use it to make sure my grown ups smell nice haha and it seems to do the trick. I just wish I hadn’t lost so much of the product in the protective bag and that the bottle was bigger. So far, would purchase again, though.

Smells so good. Exactly as described. Smells of camomile with a background on lavender. After using,I can’t help but to take a big whiff of my hands every time. Bonus it’s organic too.

The bottle is very rigid and can’t be squeezed. Opening port is too small. Powder is good. Dispensing container is not good

When i was buying this product, i was a little concerned because the bottle was so small. I bought this June 2023 it is now October 2024 this bottle lasted for a year! My newborn has been using it since he was a baby till now… Impressive!
