I finally finished this build and overall it was a ton of fun!Go slow - it took me about 10 hours over a span of 3 weeks.I would not recommend it for a young child as they will likely get bored or annoyed.The set comes with (4) bags; A, B, C, D. Completing each bag felt like an accomplishment.There are a few very challenging parts since this thing is massive!My only complaint is the placement of the USB-C charging port.It could have been put in several places but was placed where the USB-C cable can not reach easily.I ordered a small right-angle USB-C cable which I think will work so it's more of an annoyance than a deal breaker.Overall, the build quality was great and everything was packaged nicely with a ton of extra pieces.The driving/drifting takes some getting used to, but it's fast and super cool to be able to drive around and pop the doors!The battery life is around 15 minutes, which is plenty long IMO.If you want some reasonable entertainment or have a Lego nerd in your life they will appreciate this set.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My son asked for it for his birthday. It was a challenging build, but he loves it.

This is worth the money it is a little challenging to build, but when it is finished it is super entertaining. It is the same size as lego and super fun to play with. The purple one looks amazing !

Amazing

Some parts were a little frustrating to put together, but most went fine. We only missed 1 piece and we found one in the 'extra' bag. 2 purple/green pieces unfortunately came severely scratched out of the box, but overall it is not very visible. After driving the car around (works super, son loves the drifting, the lights, and the doors opening) we have decided to glue a few pieces in place that come loose too easily.For the amount I paid for the car I am very satisfied. It is a beautiful, good quality car.At first we thought charging would be a real hassle, but after getting frustrated the battery box came loose and the problem was solved. Simply click it in place again after charging.

The instructions are convoluted and extremely easy to mess up. The pictures are difficult to read so you have to be very careful which hole you put it into..lol. It's a fun but difficult build, but it's a huge bummer that I'm missing pieces. I'm about halfway through and it looks like maybe I can get away with building around the missing pieces, but the only way I'll know is if I continue and eventually get to a step that I just can't complete or won't work. I'm having fun, but I'd probably buy a different car next time.

Took my 11 year old who is very fast at legos a couple of days to build (was a good thing!). Fun to have a build actually move like a remote control car!

The media could not be loaded. We were so excited with the whole process of building this car my eight year old son worked very hard and at the end the programming box was defective. And I quote my son‘s disappointment after working so hard the car doesn’t work.
