Worked as advertised
I had to buy this because the original hose split open. This was worked to date with no problems.

Fit as stated and easy to replace
Priced at half the price by not going through the original company. Easy to replace by unscrewing one plastic piece and one clamp. It came with a new plastic insert and screw for where it is fastens to the back of washer as well as a new clamp. Mildew smell and leak are gone.

A Definite Learning Experience
So my washers drain hose sprung a tiny pinhole leak which caused water and detergent to spray out. So I searched for a replacement and bought this one. First I thought I bought the wrong size because I could not get this piece to fully attach which caused a little space which then caused water to come out when the washer drained. I did not know what to do!! So my dad suggested I put the hose in some hot water for a few minutes to expand the opening just enough and bingo, that worked..it slipped right on all the way!! My only complaints are that the elbow makes it awkward to sit where I need it in order for the hose to go through the back opening of the washer. If it sits a certain way, it bends the elbow unnaturally. The clip housing thingie that secures the hose through the back of the washer opening busted open and I couldn’t get it back on. I fiddled with it for an hour with no luck. And the fastening clip is not tight enough to secure the hose, so I had to buy a clamp to secure it better. Tbh, I thought the price was a bit high for a hose, but I have never had to buy one before. It’s a pretty expensive replacement part, especially since my last hose literally had a tiny, and I mean tiny hole. With all of that said, I reached out to the company with my dilemma and they contacted me quickly to see how they could help, and I really appreciated that. However, I had already figured it out in my own.

Perfect Fit for our LG Washer
We have an LG washer that’s about seven years old. The original hose got a hole in it when we moved our washer and started leaking water everywhere, so we were looking for a replacement. We got one from Lowe’s, but it was just a generic hose and it didn’t fit right. This LG hose fit perfectly and we had no problems with installation. It’s working great! I would recommend checking what model number your washer is and see if it’s compatible with this hose.

Good Washer Drain Hose...
I think it's a factory LG OEM hose, fits good, no leaks so far, have only done 5 loads of clothes. Came pretty quick, faster than estimated.

Bought 2 from different sellers both had pinhole leaks
The product is not that hard to install, just unscrew the sheet metal back, squeeze the clamp and pull the old one off. Push the new one on and squeeze the clamp to lock it in place. That’s not the problem though. There seems to be a manufacturing defect and these hoses have a pinhole leak in spot that sits inside the washing machine after the hose is installed. I can’t be sure that both hoses had the defect on the exact same pleat, but it certainly was in the same area. This came in LG packaging with a sticker with the part number. It looks legit. Luckily buying from Amazon it was easy to return and get a credit quickly. I still need a new hose though. Will the third time be the charm or another headache? I’m wondering if I should spend almost twice the price with shipping direct from LG and see if it is any better or just try Amazon again?
