good fit and finish
fit perfectly and looks very nice, a little slippery but that's to be expected

They look great
I love how these look on the 1911. They fit just fine, the screws come with rubber rings so they fit tight. The grips themselves are slim so they feel good to grip if you have smaller hands. My only complaint is that it’s plastic, so not sure on how long it will look good before completely getting scratched and needing a polish again. That may be a deal breaker for some, but they look good.

Complete Facelift to my Stainless with Silver Frame
Does this look good on the black 1911 in the seller's picture - yes. So what would make someone who has a "Stainless" model go for this white pearl grips?Well, this guy. Look at the first two pictures and tell me it looks bad. Yes, my 1911 is not fully stainless, it has a special gray color as well - to me, it looks like a fantastic showpiece. But being a showpiece is not the purpose of a 1911. So I took this to the outside range in pretty hot conditions to see how comfortable it would be in a live situation. Surprisingly extremely well. I was sweating but had no problems of the 1911 slipping or changing three magazines at a time.It is also nice that it comes with its personal screws and o rings. That is one thing I will recommend, pick up the correct size set of o rings for your 1911 if you are going to be switching your grips ofter as they do wear off a little at a time and the last thing you want is a stripped screw.I do not know, but I seriously do not think this would be a problem for edc as I tried my drawing exercises with ease as well. So it is great, just maybe a little too much glamor for my taste as a edc. Also, unfortunately the pictures that include a magnificent 1911 Officer gun keep getting flagged, so we are missing out on the beauty that it is with these grips.

Looks good!
I really like how these grips look and dress up my 1911. Fit is spot on and the finish is pretty good. There are a few little areas where the craftsmanship could be slightly more polished, but for the cost, I'm not going to be too bothered with that. They look good and the materials used look to be of good quality. As for use, I have quickly found that I prefer something with a little more grip rather than smooth. For this reason, I'll probably preferer to have a more textured grip for any trips to the range. But for the ole BBQ gun showing, this is 100% an option.

A little slippery
It looks o.k. It's very reflective and obviously plastic (excuse me... "Resin"). I picked it up on a whim just to see what it looks like. The White doesn't look quite right (to me anyway) on my stainless steel piece. From a practicality standpoint, this is probably fine for a "barbeque gun" but the slick plastic could be problematic if you're putting this on a fighting tool.

Durable
Some think "synthetic" is cheap, but the material this pair of grips are made of provide style and a secure grip on your weapon ! Precision cut for the 1911 pattern auto, you will have no problem putting these on yourself ! If you want to spend $500+ for real ivory grips, I'm sure Patton will give you the nod !
