I love this lamp. The patina on it can’t be imagined until you see in person. Very high quality looking color. I use the auto off in one hour feature constantly. I would buy this again if needed .

I bought this lamp to use over my bed. My bed is an adjustable one so I needed lighting that would light up wherever my bed was positioned. This one works very well for that. I panicked when I first put it together because the light was so dim. Then I got out the remote control and found that there were lots of settings. I really like this lamp.

It came with a defective metal stud, the main metal threaded stud between the main two poles of the lamp. It is bent to one direction making it impossible to screw together and even if I could it would be warped leaning to one direction. I am so disappointed. I really needed something like this. So disappointed:(

This lamp is perfect for my needs in a cramped space. Not only does it look fantastic, the shade is also metal—not the plastic one might expect at this price point.Unlike other reviewers, I had no problem with the base seeming easily tipped, even on warped and bowed 150 year old wooden floors.Note: If you’ve never had an arched floor lamp with decent reach, they all bob up and down if you bump against them. If you have toddlers or med-lg dogs running around, this might not be the lamp for you. If bumped hard enough, it will tip over (as will most floor lamps).All told, the remote is a wonderful and convenient option, and truth be told, I generally loathe remotes. This is easy to pair and use, as well as having really useful settings and non-cryptic symbols. The best part is it attaches to the lamp via magnet, so it’s hard to lose.Assembly directions are easy to follow and have a couple good tips, too. The mfg was even thoughtful enough to include a spare lock screw for where the curved portions join. (If you’ve ever tried finding the right sized replacement for one, you’ll know why this is a big deal!)Assembly was easy and quick. Two tips:1. When attaching bottom portion to base, turn the base not the pole. That way the wire doesn’t get all twisted.2. When trying to join the curved pieces, do it on a rug or towel on a flat surface. It’s much easier to get the perfect curve and lock it in place. (The bulb fixture does rotate as stated, so simply turn and tilt it until it lies flat.Overall best features:-Well machined poles fit perfectly and don’t exhibit annoying seams or overhang.-Nice bright light! 9 watt LED with truly useful 3000-6000 K presets on the remote. (As an artist, this is invaluable.)-Sturdy but slim in design. The classic shade shape is great with many decor schemes.-The inside of the shade is toned in a muted brass. I didn’t think I’d like this, but upon seeing the light both on and off, that color definitely gives the lamp and the light it casts a far warmer and friendlier feel. Details matter.Recommendation:BUY THIS LAMP! It’s a great, no-clutter piece with lighting options you’ll actually use on a remote you won’t lose. You won’t regret this purchase.

The whole point of choosing + purchasing this lamp was for the remote control dim feature. But, no remote included in package.
