Cat/Dog Costume for Halloween, Parties and Pictures (Bunny)

Decent quality. Hair needs brushed a little to make it extra Trumpy. The tie was to short for my pupper, but he does have a big neck. Luckily, with some elastic, needle n thread, my aunt was able to add some extra room. My dog didn't really mind the get up and left it on for the entire Memorial Day parade.

It wasn't easy to take a decent shot when he is awake. So here ya go. Still adorable.

It is not a commentary in terms of what my politics are, it is just funny b/c the blondish hair and the red tie on the white collar is so recognizable...I am not supporting/nor condemning any person, it is funny b/c it is simple (the cats don't really like being clothed, so they aren't comfortable wearing this beyond the length of time to get a picture, which is the only time I would put something unpleasant on my beloved pets. I happen to have a ginger cat, so the hair/wig is perfect on him. I wanted to put a lion's mane on his neck, but he declined to wear it, even with catnip on it, & of course I am not an animal torturer...I also LOVE the spider costume on those big dogs (when I see video of a dog running toward someone looking like a gigantic tarantula I crack up every time). If you want to hate on the President, or if you want to support him, I don't think this would stir up any controversy--it is not meant to be a political statement, it's just a cute idea, same as prisoner stripes, Chippendale dancers collar and 4 cuffs (like Chris Farley on SNL) or a hotdog. It made me laugh, that's all..

As others have said, the strap to the wig came sewn the wrong way so I had to take it off and see it the right way. It's really cute though!

This is Trumpy Cat. He found his way on to my patio about a year ago. He has adopted me as his human. He is a stray. I'm not especially fond of cats, but I am an animal lover so I would never deny him food, water & shelter.So over time, all I have asked in return for his own personal heated yurt, fresh water, dry & canned food (he refuses to eat Blue Buffalo, picky huh?), leftover protein from my dinners, daily brushing and back scratches, monthly flea & tick treatments, dewormers (when necessary), playtime with the dancing toy and endless hours of staring into my apartment through the patio door with that guilt-tripping look I've only seen replicated since the passing of my Jewish grandmother...was to see if he would tolerate this outfit long enough to take a photo...and he did.#TrumpyCat2024

This costume was a win! Dexter got lot's of laughs and compliments. The tie secures with Velcro and looked comfortable for him. The wig's elastic was a wee bit short, so I just plopped it onto the top of his head for the pics. Dex has a puffy face, so most things like this don't go over his head anyway. I like that it's 2 separate pieces, so I can use the necktie again if I'd like. Overall pretty funny getup :)

This fit perfectly on my wire haired dachshund. The wind blown hair is spot on and wig hasn’t shed much fibers. The tie also fit perfectly around her neck. It has a velcro closure and it didn’t fall off, unlike other velcro closures. She is very small, so I wouldn’t suggest this for dogs over 10 lbs or dogs with thick necks. I do have her picture in this costume on my computer set as my desktop at work and boy, do people love it!
