Good outdoor sheltet
After reviewing several types and designs of outdoor shelters I chose this one because of its material/ layout. It assembled quickly and the fit was very good, no gaps for water/ wind intrusion. I did not like the plastic “ doors” because they are made of a very thick and stiff plastic, and I wanted a softer entrance cover so the outside furbabies could get inside easier when it’s cold.I also added eggcrate foam insulation on the walls, an electric heating pad( on the bottom level), and carpet squares on the top level. It has been in the teens and single digit temps with feet of snow but the outsides are warm, dry and comfy.I would recommend this shelter to anyone needing a good “ cathouse”, adding indulation for cold climates is a must.

Bought this for stray cats. Very cute
I like the design and the two floor option. It is also very sturdy. The directions said two people construction. I put it together by myself. So far the stray cats don't seem to be interested in it. I put waterproof blankets and a warming pad inside. Here's hoping 😊

Easy installation
Very sturdy. Able to withstand rain, cold, hot and sunny weather conditions. Great size for one big cat or two small cats.

Waiting on its new tenants
Seems like decent for the money . Was missing a couple size screws . Went together pretty easy . We think our outside cats will enjoy it. We will add a heated pad later. Very good size

Don't buy
Pros:•Decent size.•Kind of cute.•All parts were in the package.•Everything cut and sized for you if you don't have the power tools to do this yourself and/or the maths skills to cut sizes properly.Cons:everything else!•Smells awful. Not like clean wood but chemically treated wood. I've worked with wood and this isn't normal smells.•was leaking sticky, sap like substance from the wood that got all over the paper packaging. It smelled and was sticky. I'm assuming natural tree sap but if this was actually weather sealed the wood would not be doing that.•Has lots of cracks in the wood you'll need wood glue to seal.•Has lots of cracks in the foundation with how it's put together that you'll need to get weather seal caulk for.• Floors aren't weather proof at all. They have large cracks in it and doesn't even screw down. So is dangerously wobbly when they jump up to the second level. If this was in a yard rain would totally get inside from the bottom. So do cold drafts from the bottom. I had to use caulk to hold it in place and seal it right. Only then was it actually weather proof...• only parts of the foundation have predrilled holes. So you'll need a power drill to drill the receiving holes if you don't want your wood to crack. I didn't have a drill so all the wood cracked with each screw I used, even when being gentle. So add in needing a drill as well.•because there's no predrilled holes the screws stripped out of the wood easily and pieces began falling off because they wouldn't hold the screws in place. I had to use wood glue and hope it stays together, but even after drying it feels like it'll break any moment.• the platform to the 2nd story outside is flimsy. Too heavy a cat and it'll break. I'm now going to have to get other supports for it.•Whole cat house is not sealed with anything that's weather proof, as mentioned. Has a thin layer of awful smelling paint and that's it. Like a wash of color. There is sap from the wood coming through the paint and it's sticky on the wood. You'll have to add in extra to get a decent weather sealer.•There is also crystals forming on the wood and I'm not sure what it is! Is this natural or harmful? Crystals did wipe away and once weather sealed with proper sealant no more crystals form. I think it's the cheap paint they used.•bottom feet that are supposed to help prop it up look wobbly when you extend them out! I don't trust leaving them extended! So they are basically worthless.•Is not insulated in any way so you'll need to get actual insulation as well.I wish I'd never have bought this! Totally not worth the value!

Easy to assemble! Outdoor cats love it
I was fully expecting this to turn up in a huge box with a million tiny pieces to put together. It wasn't bad at to put together and it makes for a nice additional to my deck and the outdoor cats love it!

Not insulated.
This is a nice cat house but it is not insulated as stated in the listing. Was expecting insulation. Please make sure to include that in your considerations when shopping. I will keep it but not what I expected to receive.
