Effective for controlling erosion
I was fighting a losing battle with erosion on a steep slope where I was trying to establish a flowerbed. After tilling the soil, I placed this grid in the ground and mixed in fine gravel to weigh it down. Its a real pain getting the matrix to stay in place while filling it with gravel or soil. I filled them one at a time, expanding each adjacent cell, filling it, moving to the next one. The large cells allow smaller plants to be planted in between and the matrix holds the soil in place. This product works well if you are prepared to spend the time getting it into the ground.

Could not use for yard but great for erosion prevention
This is as described, however I am not sure how long it will last long term. I actually got this to help restore my lawn and keep soil in place. I guess I missed the detail on each grid being 15ā+ because they are way larger than I actually need for soil/grass. That said, I will use them on my next project that requires gravel in the chicken coop

Sizeable stretch
So I haven't begun the process of digging out the partial gravel driveway so I can make a sand/dirt base layer for the grid, but I wanted to show a good example of how much it stretches out and how sizeable it can be. It already doesn't want to move and it doesn't even have anything compounded on the inside of it. It's very stinky and sheds plastic particulates but seems very durable and holds it's shape incredibly well

No anchors to hold it down
Not really a bad product but it did not come with anchors to hold the web down and in place.
