Cannot set the tension correctly, and covered in oil on delivery.
These bobbin cases came with the tension adjustment screw over tightened, so much so that it was hard to release the screw, afterwards it wasn't possible to adjust the tension to anywhere near the correct tension ( I have the Featherweight bobbin tension meter, purchased from America.) the case tensioner would hold then release the thread on an off, the thread is Gutermann Thread, so not a bargain basement thread, also it came out of the bobbin case I was using at the time, which was adjusted correctly, and then when put back in the original case, the thread tension was still correct, about twenty three grams +/- a couple of grams, I don't know if the overtightened screw damaged the tensioning spring, or if the whole bobbin case is at fault, also they came in individual plastic bags covered in oil, so have to be degreased before handling, whatever the reason is, I cannot recommend these bobbin cases, I returned these ones for a refund.
