Perfect for non-neurotypical children.
My 8 yr old AUT-1 son loves these!He stopped chewing on his shirt collars and cuffs with these! He look so much nicer in his clothes since we bought them! He really likes them, and seeks them out to wash them on laundry day. Maybe this notion will transfer to all his clothes, lol...

Helpful, but poor quality
I bought these when my son began chewing/sucking on his Tshirts. He primarily chews when he’s nervous or tired so it’s not constant. He loves these chewy necklaces and they help to prevent him from chewing on his clothing but the quality is poor. After the first use he was able to chew a hole through the material. I also noticed that after one wash they begin getting stringy even though I wash them on delicate in a laundry bag.

Didn't work out
My son is constantly chewing on his shirts. I thought this would be perfect for him. Unfortunately he thought it was too "fuzzy" and won't put it in his mouth. I've got to find something else.

Terrible.
Terrible quality! They're cheaply made, they fell apart within an hour. Definitely not safe for chewing.

Braided
6 colorful braided necklaces. The terry cloth material is absorbent and easy to use. Great for people on the spectrum who have oral stimulation needs. I use them in my classroom.

Fell Apart First Use
For background info, my child is on the spectrum and between 10-12. He has two cloth chewy necklaces from school that he loves but we have to wash every day. I put one of these on him today (the braided one) and it fell apart by the end of the day, he ate it to shreds. I will be trying another, hopefully more durable. It looked cute on, loved how easy it was to adjust with the knots, it may be worth it for a toddler.5/29 Update - Company was willing to work with me to refund. Again, perhaps my child's adult teeth were too much for these, may work much better with a toddler.

Not good for chewrrs
If your child is truly a chewer these are not a good choice. My grandson chewed in half fist day. Just to be fair, he has jaws of steel

Great concept
Worked great for keeping my kid from chewing on his shirt. The braided one came unsewed after 2 uses and he doesn't like the single ones because of the velcro
