Exactly what I wanted.
Looks great and fits perfectly. Exactly what I wanted. However there are some minor quirks to be aware of before purchase.1. The touchpads are perfectly flush with the case under a slight recess. This isn't an issue for me and I have full control and touch capacity, but it does merrit some notice.2. It gives the letter buttons a slightly recessed feel. For me this isnt an obstruction however I can see how it may affect some players.3. It makes the SD slot a bit difficult to access. This is kinda an obvious thing but worth mention.Aside from those three things I cant really make any negative notes. The pleather is soft but not too soft, the fit has no wiggle so there is no rattle from the case, and the port cutouts allow me to use my dock and the charging cable that comes with the steamdeck. Now, I do see other reviews calling this out. To note I am not using the official steam deck, I am using one by ivanki, and I am using the oled model. The latter has no affect on things since both models are the same design and size. The official dock though is a form fitting connector with that little piece on the wire side which will cause issue. Make of this detail what you will.Update 6/26 - So, its been about 8 months. Im still using this case, but there are a few things to point out. There are two weak points to this case. In hindsight, its pretty obvious but the snapping tabs that keep the case close are good at what they do. However, as with some brands of laptops, they do not take well to being opened. Often this means a broken tab. The second fault is the stand. I've added a photo regarding but to explain a bit more It isnt really built to be pushed back. Just the weight of the deck kinda forces it to stress a bit. If something somehow pushed it all the way to the top it would barely survive. Honestly, with a plastic case, there isnt exactly a means of fixing this without making both case and metal on stand thicker, which just would feel just too chunky.

Not Compatible With Steam Deck Dock
If you want a seamless transition from handheld to dock, I would not recommend this case. The case makes the Steam Deck a tiny bit thicker that would cause the device to improperly fit on the dock nor does it securely fasten the dock's power cord due to it's shape. The charger for the Steam Deck fits just fine.I use the Steam Deck mainly on the go, so this case has been great. The only times that I would use the dock is during the holidays and family gatherings where we would play games like Jackbox. The process in removing the case is rough. You'll have to fiddle around with it for a while in hopes of safely removing one of the front plates with minimal to no scratches. But once one of the front plates comes off the process becomes a bit easier.

Its not that hard to put together or take off.
I saw other people say it was hard to take off. Just be gentle and it works perfect.

Looks nice, that's about it
Impossible to take off. Thought I was going to break the deck trying to pry it off. While it fits in the dock, the built in usb-c doesn't fit. Have to take the case off to use the dock

Pretty good after some grinding!
This case is a nice little bit of plastic for your Deck. Looks really nice, the spongy bits are very satisfying and overall adds just a smidge of extra protection. The kickstand, however, is... odd? It goes way too far with the Steam Deck winds up almost flat feels a tad flimsy. The button access as well is there and fine and dandy, but I preferred a more open approach. I ended up grinding off a big circle where the directional pad and the buttons are (I have fat fingers) and widened the USB-C port access (it was too small for the Steam standard cable). All in all, not bad! Customize it if you don't like the feel, well worth the money.

Love the color scheme of this low profile case
This case goes on the steam deck very easily, fits nice and snug, and offers a bit of drop protection. I absolutely love the white and orange color scheme, it looks fantastic on the device. The steam deck still fits perfectly in the case that came with it, and within a low profile case that i have. What's more, it adds a little visual variety, we have multiple steam decks in my household, so it is nice to easily see who's is who's.
