Like this very much. Great healing properties. Like their Manuka Honey Salve, a little bit goes a long way. This oil is gentle, healing & absorbed by skin without being gooey. Even if you mistakenly use too much, just smooth excess into adjacent area & remember for next time. Always be sure to test on small area of your own (or other user) skin to be very sure of safety. Always take care not to use oils on open (unhealed) wounds. Once open wounds are healed it should be ok. If under doc's care for a wound, first review use with them on that area. Highly recommend.

This Balm of Gilead oil smells pleasant and is moisturizing. Frankincense is a very well used oil for a lot of issues an, on it's own, is quite pricey. So, this is a good way to give it a try and see how it works for you.They use avocado oil as the carrier oil so you can use it right out of the bottle without mixing it yourself. The avocado oil in itself is moisturizing. Overall, this is does a nice job on the skin and smells pleasant.

I tried this Balm of Gilead Frankincense Myrrh Skin Oil on my left hand and arm where there’s sun damage from resting it on my car window. It seems to be a good essential oil product with a pleasing scent. My massage therapist has used both frankincense and myrrh oils during our sessions, allowing me to sniff the bottles and approve of this aromatherapy application. Since I’ve had the opportunity to receive essential oil products from Amazon at no cost for purposes of unbiased review, I’ve learned a few things about essential oils. All three of the scent ingredients of this rubbing oil, frankincense, myrrh, and rosemary are tree based products containing terpenes (think turpentine), and typically require a carrier oil dilution, in this case avocado oil, for topical use. Frankincense and myrrh are sap-like gum-resins, and rosemary oil is extracted from the evergreen leaves. This rubbing oil has a consistency that reflects the gum-resin ingredients. It took a few passes of soaping up to wash it from my hands after application. I applied it and left it on for some time, before showering. The following day, my skin was nicely moisturized. I’ll likely use this product covering my skin with old clothes and hands with vinyl gloves at home, showering some time after application, same or next day. Recommended.

I have always been put off by the price of frankincense and myrrh but the price on this was reasonable. It is cut with avocado oil. The scent is strong but pleasant. My daughter's wedding was this week and my feet were swollen and sore after several days hustling around in heels. My husband massaged my feet with this oil last night and this morning they were perfect again. I was amazed as the pain and swelling has been increasing day by day for the past 3 days. I had zero pain this morning. I'm so glad to have this product in my cabinet now! 5 stars
