Solid Device, Prime Video May Not Be Compatible On Device A 5G Home Internet Connection
I use a variety of different streaming devices/platforms for different purposes. Although I am primarily a Roku or Apple TV user, I've been looking for a reliable Google TV device. This is better than Google’s Chromecast devices as it has very minimal lag on apps like Peacock that on the Chromecast stutters regularly during playback. There are two drawbacks to this device from what I can see in my initial tests after a few days.One, I noticed that Prime Video loads on my T-Mobile 5G home internet , but does not play any video. When I switch the connection to my cable connection, it does play flawlessly. I am currently looking for an Ethernet USB hub that I can connect to my 5G network to verify that Prine Video isn't compatible on 5G home internet on this device, but it does run perfectly on all my other equipment on the 5G connection. Every other app that I use that I have been able to install runs on the 5G connection, the only minor issue is when scrolling through VUDU Fandango At Home, sometimes when hitting the back button to go back to a previous screen within the app, it will get stuck on a blue screen. Nit sure if it's the device more so than it is a possible bug in VUDU’s software, but I guess I'll find out whenever they push out an update for the app.The other thing that I have noticed is, despite this device being barely a year old, some apps that are available on Google Chromecast are not available on this device. One of the ones I have noticed that I use often to cover Boxing cards is ProBox TV. Not sure why it is not available. Nevertheless, it is a solid device. Hopefully, Google or the manufacturer will be able to fix the aforementioned issues. As far as the USB Ethernet hub, I'm open to suggestions because I haven't been able to find one yet that has an Ethernet connection and USB slots for my flash drive. Thanks.

Defective Volume Button
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I Order a box...the volume button was Not working properly...I returned the item and reorder another box....And the Volume button still Not working...very frustrating ☹️

Awesome, great for travel and USB video
I absolutely love this thing. It’s great for traveling with your own video library. Pair this with the Kodi app and usb storage (I used nvme usb drive) and you have offline video ready to go. USB is 2.0 but that’s plenty for high bit rate video. Interface can be a little slow on initial boot but decently quick after start up. Remote is nice and the unit asks if you want it to also setup for tv control (volume and power). It would be nice if there was a backlit remote option. This is my new travel media center and the cost is very reasonable.
