Vibram Unisex's Men's and Women's Furoshiki Phulkari Low-Top

I already own a number of pairs of Vibram Five Finger shoes and although I love them I am always conscientious that they look a little strange so when I saw these Furoshiki wrapping shoes by Vibram I had to try them. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. If you like being barefoot these are for you. I'm not sure they would be any good for running in because they don't have much toe protection, but that's not what I've bought them for and I don't think that is what they are intended for. Sizing - I'm usually between a 7-8 (41-42) with pretty wide feet, and in Five Fingers I wear an 8 (42). The Furoshiki sizing available was either 7.5 or 9 so I went for the size 9 (43). Although slightly large, because of the Velcro I can wear them without any slipping. I would say the sizing is as expected. I was worried that the toe pocket might be tight, but it isn't. It is very roomy and stretchy. My Dad who is a size 10-11 tried my size 9's on. He has very swollen feet and dreadful bunions and although the size nine fitted him snugly but were still comfortable and not tight anywhere. He has now ordered a size 10.I will definitely be buying more Furoshiki shoes and boots.

Lovely shoe, wearing okay, just so expensive. Still as restrictive as a shoe.
