This flat top is awesome. It's basically a mini hibachi. The cook top is 1/4" stainless. Not to be confused with a cast iron cook top. No "seasoning" of the cook top should be done. Clean after each use with water and towel while still hot.

My husband is in 7th heaven! He LOVES this flat top grill, I probably will too, if he ever lets me use it! Lol We both like hash browns, him plain, mine lots of onion and cheese. With this, he can do both keeping them separate. I got the large press to go along with it too, bacon, sausage and Hamburgers turn out perfect! I also ordered the dome, so at the end he can really get the cheese nicely melted. Chicken Breast, Steak you name it. Clean up is a snap. Just squeeze some water on to steam, scrape off the residue into the residue cup, let cool. Dump the scrapings into the trash…done. It also is not too big, I can store it in the bottom of a cabinet until the next time. We both highly recommend this grill. Do yourself a favor and get the scraper, press and the dome too!

Works well but has cold spots on the grill.Could use a higher splash guard on the back, I added a 7 inch back splash extension and it makes a big difference.Use a surface temperature gun to determine where the temp varies.Wait 5 minutes after the grill is up to temperature and the surface will be more even. Give it ten minutes and it will be even across the grill about 1.5 inches from the sides. The side don't really heat up and the right and left front don't really heat up to temp, but I use it the set things off the heat.This is a 1600w grill, it will work in all 120vac kitchen outlets. Almost all home kitchen outlets are 15 or 20 amp.Hope this helps.

No es buen producto, luego del primer uso y limpieza quedo llena de óxido y muy difícil que quitar, no, no recomiendo este producto, pues dice que es acero inoxidable y no es así, hace mucho óxidoIt is not a good product, after the first use and cleaning it is full of rust and very difficult to remove, no, I do not recommend this product, because it says that it is stainless steel and it is not like that, it is very rusty

This was a gift to myself. So I’m am a little bummed out that the temperature knob was jinky right away. I had to check the plug a few times, turn the knob on off a bunch. It didn’t work. Ugh! Then I felt it warming up while it was turned off. Okay, I will give it a chance. After burning the grease off outside for an hour, I brought it inside. The center has a hot spot. I burned some bacon. The dog and I ate the bacon. Then it leaked all over the counter because it’s not welded all the way around. Also, there's no leveling on the legs. If you're going camping for the weekend, it’s one thumbs up. If you want to use it inside, you better have a full oven pan under it and a hood for smoke. 3/5
