Finally a girl with experience
Wow! Ok, the writing is not the best and the main girl can be annoying sometimes but at least we have 2 grown ups who had sexual experiences with other partners before colliding. Iâm so tired of reading about virgins. The story is addictive and the author makes sure to plant bits that make sense later. The main girl has a health condition but she is strong willed which makes it more enjoyable. The main guy is a bit like Edward Cullen from twilight but much darker and more observant. He is not as suffocating as Christian from 50 shades. This series evens out the characters and there is sth for everyone in it. On top, the world is fictional and has a nice story and the sex scenes are carefully placed and well told. Iâve bookmarked them. :)I canât wait for the fourth book!!!

OMG More Dragons Please
I know there have been critiques of this series for various reasons, including the use of Gaelic etc, but in terms of enjoyment, this one sizzles. For me, I love the fact that our main heroine is a character with disabilities, probably the fantasy version of dyspraxia or fibromyalgia, something of that ilk, and she isn't miraculously cured with magic. She becomes powerful, but it doesn't heal her body. She just has to work much harder than others to build her strength, and given I have the same issues, I relate to it.The dynamic between the trio here - Violet, and her two sort of suitors - Dain and Xaden, is great. But best of all - dragons. Tairn is terrific but Arand is so cute. She has paws! The battles, the training, the secrets, the laughter, the spice and the grief, all done so well.I loved it.

Amazing new fantasy series!
Okay, shocked review incoming! 𤯠I am genuinely mind blown that I read this book, being a fantasy book and literally adored it from start to finish. I was heavily influenced by everyone else that was reading it until FOMO got the best of me and I ordered it. That was one of the best decisions I have made this year.I donât know how to review this and do it the justice that it deserves. đŹViolet is thrown, unexpectedly into the riders quadrant despite training her whole life to be a scribe. She loves being in the archives surrounded by text, rather then being forced to participate in activities where she is not guaranteed to be alive by the end of it. Once people realise who she is, the dislike for her grows and she finds people wanting to literally end her life.Xaden is a third year rider, tall, moody and some who that Violet dislikes from the minute she lays eyes on him. đ Neither realise that eventually they will come to rely on each other like no other person.Violet is faced with a many a challenge and her only aim is to survive. She spends a lot of time figuring out who she can trust and who has anything other than pure intentions towards her. When threshing arrives, the chance for every rider to bond with a dragon. Violet soon finds herself centre of attention and one of the most powerful riders. My thoughts:⨠This book gave me everything, steamy slow burn romance.â¨Unrequited love⨠Enemies to lovers⨠Dragons that talk! This was one of my favourite elements.⨠Chapter 36 got me in the feels, broke my heart and I was CRYING! đđŞ˝â¨ I was honestly burning for something to happen with Xaden and Violet and you know where you could squeal with excitement when something happens? Yeah that happened.⨠Shocking ending. Yes, I was gobsmacked. GIVING MIC DROP VIBES 𤯠I am quite literally still in disbelief. It opened so many questions for me and I cannot wait for the second book.

Absolutely loved this boom. Great read.
I haven't found anything decent and gritty since I have exhausted Sarah I Maas but this was as close to her standard as I've come across. Great characters, brilliant plot and the descriptive writing was fabulous without rambling. Gutted a certain character didn't make it but the ended was an epic surprise. Can't wait to read the next installment. Highly entertaining reading.
