A jewel amongst the rest
I already have a tyre inflator but it's bulky, heavy, and not really suitable for my needs which were to carry around in a backpack during work hours. I deliver cars for a living and frequently pick up vehicles that have been standing on an airfield for months unattended.Occasionally they have tyres that need air and we all know the pain of the petrol station air line. Dirty, awkward long hose that has to service all 4 wheels, and of course the cost maybe not a big factor for most but for me it is.The biggest factor for me is time, so I worked out the time it takes me to find a petrol station, and inflate. the tyres was costing me in money and time elsewhere so I looked through the endless list of inflators and chose this one.Now the review:It's well made, very modern and sturdy with big embossed buttons and dead simple to use. Switch it on, choose your measurement preference (I'm a p.s.i person), set the pressure you require, screw the hose onto the tyre valve and press the start button. It makes a bit of noise but it's not uncomfortable and the performance is as expected. to inflate a tyre from 26 psi to 32 took about 1.5 - 2 minutes. Which ironically is about the same time a petrol station pump takes. My initial dry run took a scooter tyre (10 inch wheel) from flat to 35psi in about a minute. So it would appear that anything really low gets inflated quickly until it reaches the final stages and the unit has to work harder to reach the target pressure. In other words things that need a lot of air are not going to take a massive amount of time to inflate.2 days after it arrived I needed it as a car I was moving had 2 under inflated tyres. less than 5 minutes to fix as opposed to the 20 minutes or more at the petrol station was good enough to show me it was worth buying. The battery went down from full to 1 bar missing, so I charged it in the car en-route and was full and ready for the next time by the time I reached my destination which was less than an hour. What can I say, its small enough for a glove box but probably better in the boot. Is light enough and small enough to carry around If you needs are like mine. Has a light for using in the dark which has emergency flashing sequences and colours and it does the job with no fuss or faff.Cheaper than a lot of the others which made me wary, but the price is justified. 24 more uses and it will have paid for itself in my case. But the time and effort saved probably about 7 uses and it's paid for itself in my book.Would recommend.

effective motorcycle tyre inflator.
Bought to inflate motorcycle tyres.Well designed lightweight unit. Needs a full charge before first use.Clear instructions and simple controls. A very clear electronic display.I checked the psi reading with a calibrated gauge and it was out by 1psi which is fine.On a large motorcycle tyre it gains about 5psi in 30 seconds or so.The unit is as noisy as I would expect a small compressor to be.The hose has a screw on valve. This works Ok, but can be a little awkward to fit on recessed valves without loosing air, so I now overinflate by 1psi to compensate for the loss when removing the hose.I'm a bit sceptical this will inflate a big tyre from flat, but it will certainly get to a pressure that would be rideable in the case of a puncture. For routine garage maintenance it works well and is a lot quicker to use than my previous 12v inflator.

Great 'little' electric inflator
Admittedly, I bought this with the expectation of it being alot smaller than it actually was. Hoping it may slip into a cycling jersey pocket (it does not). But it works a treat, can't say I use it enough to warrant having it though due to the size & weight 😔

Good Item
Purchased this item few days ago and I am very pleased I did so as it is really good and does the job it was bought for.Small and compact but not to small and can be left in car for further use easy read and is very clear to read.

Amazing customer service
Below is my previous 1 star review however, within a short time of writing it i was contacted by AstroAI who were extremely helpful and offered a replacement, unfortunately this was out of stock at the time so the asked me to pick a new one in their range which arived and worked flawlessly. very impressed with the service would for sure recommend and would use again. Thanks AstroAIMy unit doesn't display the psi always shows 0.0 then 29.5 and cuts out no matter what setting or target psi you set. wouuld be a great little unit but unfortunately doesnt work as intended :( maybe mine is faulty i don't know

Disappointed
Could be a great product but just like other cheaper options once the battery goes it does not charge so makes it useless. Really disappointed as this is the second one I’ve bought!

a wonderful asset to have in your bag
everything works perfectly, i am very impressed and carry it everywhere as it also works as a power bank to charge a camera or a phone.i have found that the pump turns itself on too easily, just pressure on the keypad isall that's required, so often find the light switched on and on occasions the pumpmotor starts up if i put the backpack down. however, still recommended and perhapsit should be kept in it's box if you carry it in a backpack etc

Avoid poor quality
Update: my product still did not charge a car tyre fully. However the sellers communication was top class. They issued a refund despite being over 3 months and communication was really good. I may have more trust in AstroAi to purchase something again in future based on this.Incorrectly advertised: "continuously inflate for 25 minutes on a full charge". The battery on mine only lasted for 4 minutes and was not able to charge a small car tyre.Does not even charge up one tire on your car fully.I only wanted 25psi for 4 tyres on a small convertible. However after a full charge the battery ran out without even completing one tyre.
