A neat little decoration.
This item seems to have a lot of versatility. It could be placed on a desk, computer table, what-not shelf, or window sill. With the holidays approaching at this writing I might even try it as a Christmas tree ornament. its uses are limited only by your imagination.

Cool concept, but not all sides are color mixing
It's a clever idea and fun little desk decoration. It's quite expensive for basically a colored cube though. One thing I've noticed as I spent more time with it is that 2 of each colored side has a "opaque" back and doesn't mix. For example, there's 5 faces you would see when looking through the yellow side, one should be yellow all the way through, 2 yellow+magenta should make red and 2 yellow+blue should make green. However only one of the mixed faces make the color, and the other stays yellow. You can tell from the iso shot of the cube I've taken. I'm not sure it's intentional or not but I'd prefer it was fully mixing. It's also a fingerprint magnet.

The colors as it spins or sits in changing lighting are awesome
This thing is so cool. It's fascinating sitting or spinning. Get this one with the little angled pedestal spinner.

Okay
Cube is great, but the stand is wobbly and not deep enough for a secure hold on it. Colors are vivid and accurate. Nice gift. Average value compared to alternatives. Got it for work - I work in education, and kids think it's cool

Colorful Fidget Toy
The media could not be loaded. I actually bought this Color Mixing Cube not so much as a fidget toy but more because I've been dealing with color gradations in photography and I thought this would be good to see how changing the temperature of light by mixing the three primary colors would change the end result. I have to say that for THAT purpose the Color Mixing Cube is sadly not so good. However as a fidget toy the Color Mixing Cube rocks! I keep this on my desk and when I get bored, or when I get stumped about something and need to clear my mind, I reach for this and either turn it around in my hands or spin it on its included stand. For either manner this is a great fidget toy and because there are so many color combinations moving around as the cube moves it should occupy your mind with different views for as long as you need or want. The cube itself is a plastic like acrylic with different colors embedded into each face. It is quite solid and should last for a very long time. It's shipped wrapped in a blue protective cover. The stand is a circular plastic base with a long spinning piece of plastic attached. The spinning piece is grooved with a triangular inset into which the cube sits. I am not sure as to how durable the stand is but short of manhandling it roughly I think it should have a fair longevity.Obviously I am quite taken by this toy and am not at all disappointed that it did not fulfill my primary purpose in ordering it. The use of the spinning/turning cube as a fidget toy is just marvelous and the manufacture more than adequate for its purpose. I give the Color Mixing Cube 5 stars for a superior product.
