Sturdy clip and comfortable grip
This leash is pretty great. The clip that attached to the ring on the collar or harness is well made. You have to squeeze bother sides, simultaneously, in order to open the clip. It stays open until either pressed closed from the outside, or, when attaching to the ring, which, when contacting the levers from the inside, causes it to close. A decently thought out design. The one suggestion I can make would be a flip over latch that would prevent accidental opening of the levers, so as to prevent release of the leash from the collar or harness. As it is, if the clip lever is pressed against only one side, as could very well happen if your dog runs into some brush, or something like it, the other side still stays in place around the ring to secure the leash. It seems very unlikely that both levers would be actuated under such circumstances. The leash is normally about 4 feet long but will stretch to about 6 feet due to the elastic bungee section. There is a handle close to the attachment point for better control, as well as one at the end of the leash, as per usual. Both handles are padded and comfortable to grip during a long walk. Additionally, about halfway down the handle there is a clip which can be attached into a vehicle seat belt buckle to help secure your pet during a car ride. The sticking for all points is either multi row stitching or bar tack, so it's designed to hold up to big dogs. All in all, this leash is worth the few extra dollars over a standard rope leash.

Strong, good quality!
Great quality, works great with my 90lb dog who likes to pull. I feel very confident in it holding him. Has the extra handle close the collar which is very helpful. The handle is soft and doesn’t hurt my hands.

Best leash I’ve ever used with a big dog.
Amazing big dog leash. Just received it and already love it. Weighty enough that they notice, and kind of chill. The 4 ft unstretched length is great for my big mutt, and the tension of the elastic is more effective (day 1) than me tugging on his leash. Seems chew resistant - already lost two to getting chewed. The traffic handle is great, and also not big and floppy. The seatbelt option, which I haven’t tested, doesn’t make the leash overly bulky. Again, the heft seems to help with my pup.

Good leash overall
The bungee effect helps with my 90 lb Retriever when he lunges for rabbits, foxes and deer. I like the length although I usually have to take a wrap around the wrist to get to the length that keeps it from wrapping up in dogs legs. The snap latch is a bit bigger than expected and is somewhat cumbersome to attach to most D rings on the dog collars I have (and these are large D rings) but works well for releasing and so far has been sturdy. Wrist strap is comfortable.

If you have problems getting a leash on your dog please read this
I have a rescue that was horribly physically abused (bloody). This is they only way I can get something around the poor girls head and neck without sending her cowling and yelping into a corner. She's only 10 lbs., and the leash seems like i's for a bigger dog. The benefit, though, is that the loop on the leash stays open (like the rope a rope a cowboy uses to lasso something.) Makes it possible to use without stressing my dog.Prior to this the old leash stayed on the poor girl for a year because getting a leash on and off multiple times a day was just not possible, too traumatic. It really became a big deal.I have spent a couple of hundred dollars on just about every leash/collar. This is only thing that works, and works like a dream. A huge stress reliever for me and the girl.Additionally, it's a really nice leash.

Sturdy, well made
The build quality on this is fantastic: I have a very active staffy who likes to chew and this thing has survived several months in. The bungee allows the length to expand if she pushes, but keeps it short because she does great off leash. It’s built well and the color is crisp. This thing’s functionality is unbeatable: you can use it well for training purposes or with active pup.

Really great value
10 out of 10. One of my friends has a similar leash but hers was about $30 more. I wanted to find one with the expandable feature due to the size of my dog but I didn't want those cheap pull string leashes. I have walked my friends dog several times and after using this one for a fraction of the price I am impressed by the quality. I love all the features and even the glow in the dark dotted line feature at night. The padding where you normally hold the leash is fantastic and honestly unexpected. The clasp is pretty cool. I attached it to the harness so I don't really have to take it off often however when I get my dog ready for a walk she gets so excited. The clasp's easy open and close makes it a quick attachment when my dog is ready to go. Overall, this is a great leash regardless of the price. But, the price does help. The only test is durability throughout time. We shall see but I can't complain.
