Good quality, SS-304, ... and partially magnetic.
They seem high quality, to me.I was a little concerned the screw was not SS, so I tested with a magnet. Well, the screw isn't, but the clamp and band indentations are. Not the smooth part of the band, just the thread indentations (huh??).Well, the Interweb tells me that SS-304 is non-magnetic, but it can become ferritic under some conditions. Work hardening and welding are such times. So, I guess the thread part of the band became ferritic when rolled through the thread die. And, the clamp became ferritic when bent and welded on the back. It all looks to be SS-304, so I'll take that as the reason.

Good strong clamp for hose repair
make sure you order one size up (3/4 clamp for 5/8 hose) otherwise works great for hoses. The torque resistance is great and holds the hose very firmly.

Wrong size.
They are 3/4 not 1 inch. Mislabeled I believe. Costs me another 3 days. Looks like a good product.
