Purchased this sim for a trip to the US. Read a bunch of reviews and was concerned that I'd need to pay more than the cost of the sim. I've just arrived home and can happily report that there were ZERO EXTRA CHARGES! Got my sim card delivered the next day and simply followed the very clear instructions included. It worked perfectly and I had great coverage everywhere I went in the northeast of the US. I assume coverage is decent in the areas I was in and maybe if you're off to rock climb in the desert or hike in the middle of the forest it might be different. But I had a strong signal and fantastic connectivity the whole time.Just in case anyone is worried, here's the deal...Activate the sim BEFORE you leave the UK.Once you get your sim, you activate it via a very simple online form. The address for the website is included by a QR code and it's printed on the envelope you'll receive.You'll get a text from 3 and from the company who is activating for you.I was activated within a couple of hours.Once you're notified that the nunber is active you'll need to place one outgoing call that connects to a UK number. I called my husband's mobile. He never answers but it connected to his voicemail and that was enough. Do this while you're still in the UK! It's included in your package and is free.Then you're all set to go.This is a fantastic deal! Great value for money and I highly recommend.

This SIM is sold through an external company. My SIM did not connect to any local or USA networks. When I contacted Speakeasy from the UK, they were very polite but told me it must be that the 3 network was down in my area and I would have no problem using it in the USA. This was not the case and I ended up without a working SIM and unable to contact my family back home whilst away. Both Amazon and Speakeasy refused to give me a refund, since they claim it is not their responsibility. Avoid this company!

A little concerned as my SIM wasn't recognised on the speakeasytelecom website. I rang the number but no one picked up. However they did ring me back so be patient. The guy put all my info in, his side & it all went through. He was extremely helpful. I have now made my 1st phone call and data is working in the UK. Just hope it works in the USA next week. Dropped a star as not used yet in the states, but will update on our return.UPDATE: Just back off holiday, worked fine in USA, Columbia, Guatemala & Costa Rica. It probably deserves 4.5 stars, but that's not possible to give. Almost 5 stars except for one issue. Set up was fine and easy. It didn't activate exactly when I asked, but customer service was very responsive and helpful, even outside the hours they advertise. The packaging and emails say you need to make a UK phone call after activation, but that wasn't the case, confirmed by the seller. I needed to restart the phone for the data to work, that wasn't mentioned by the seller, but I've had similar before so knew what to do.It worked flawlessly in Singapore and Australia. The only slight issue was in Indonesia. The first day the local network must have been down as 4g was showing on the phone, but nothing worked. That wasn't the sellers fault obviously, but the sim only allowed you to connect to one network in Indonesia and that was the one that was down on that day. If I could have connected to an alternative it would have got 5 stars. Same at another island in Indonesia, only one network was available and it was one the sim wasn't allowed to connect to. Overall though, when the network was available it worked absolutely fine. I often managed to connect when 10-15 miles off shore as a bonus. Overall absolutely worth the money and great customer service too

Being a pair of old fogeys, we struggled to set this up initially, but spoke to Zac who was very helpful, talked us through it articulately and got it up a running. Very impressed with the speed and efficiency of his response.

Hard to manage as got this card for Australia … but not unlimited text/calls. Found it difficult to use!

Bught these to use on holiday in the USA. Sims arrived. When I tried to use before i my holiday I was unable to use phone until I purchased a pack x 2 as no credit on the sim. Did not provide what was described.
