So far so good. Put this in our top freezer Whirlpool yesterday. Videos how to do it on YouTube. It is not hard. There is a fan on the bottom of the fridge as well. Be sure to clean your coils on the bottom front and back as they were caked in dust. Get a coil brush. The evaporator motor behind the top freezer was not working. The bottom was fine. Cheers.

The fan for my Maytag refrigerator is obsolete. I took a chance and was able to modify this to work. It worked so well initially I ordered another one for a spare. And then...the noise started! I took it out and apart to add a few drops of oil. It was quiet for a while and then the noise returned. I installed the spare and had the same results. I disassembled both units (remove 2 screws) and swapped the parts around and on the first try I had a quite running fan motor. It seems like its hit or miss with this one but the price was good, even for two.

This evaporator fan motor replaced the old one perfectly. And now our refrigerator works as good as new. Only problem was that Amazon Prime said next day delivery, nope, two days later it finally arrived, while we kept putting ice in the cooler to keep our food cold.

The product came super fast which was awesome and I’m not sure if it was my fault or not but the wires that plug in the side on the One in my freezer or on the opposite side of the one that came so I just had to make jumper wires to get them to reach With in that very easy to install everything seems to be working
