Great casual sneaker!
I love these sneakers! I tried out several different sneakers before finding these, and these are by far my favorite. I was looking for sneakers to wear casually, for walks to the park with my kids or shopping. I needed something comfortable and stylish. I ordered the black on black version. These sneakers look great with jeans, and the dark color means they don't show spots. They still look new after several months of light wear. I've worn them all day, with a lot of walking, and they were comfortable the entire day. The shoes have a little bit of support (enough that I don't feel the pavement as I'm walking), but not so much that I feel like I'm walking on cushions. I highly recommend these shoes!

Not bad. And fantastic for the price.
I bought the blue/light grey color. Just wanted to give a heads up that the light grey description is not the color of the suede, but the stripes. My mistake. I was thinking the pic was showing a light grey suede and my monitor was just a little off. The color of the suede is kind of a khaki color. Almost a Georgia clay color, which I was not expecting. The pic....the blue is right on, the orange is right on, and the tan is a little deeper and richer than expected. That's about the only fault I've found so far. They fit fine, great styling, and seem pretty comfortable for new sneakers. I normally shoot for EE width and these are slightly narrow through the forefoot. Not bad though, and not so narrow as to make them uncomfortable, and I know my big feet will stretch them out in no time. They seem like good athletic shoes, and for the price, hard to beat.

One of the sweetest looking sneakers around.
Wow! The picture of the Onitsuka Tiger Colorado Eighty-five (light grey/navy) doesn't do it justice. Sure it looks awesome in the picture on my computer screen but when I received the package and opened the shoe box, I was really blown away with the style and the high quality materials put into this sneaker. The stitching looks tight and strong. The white fabric part isn't just solid. It has a checker board effect to it that I didn't notice from the picture. The laces have a cool matching design. Very unique eye catching shoe design. Comfort? Very nice. I have the Ultimate 81 as well and I didn't find it too comfortable. It was very flat, low to the ground and it didn't have much cushion. The Colorado Eight-five is probably a 1/4 inch higher off the ground and it has more cushion. The Colorado Eighty-five is simply lot more comfortable than my Ultimate 81 and it is also better looking. I would wear these with nice jeans or to workout at my gym. Would I run on the treadmill in them? I wouldn't simply because I want to keep these as long as possible and running on the treadmill or outside would put too much wear and tear on them. I consider this more of a fashion sneaker than a real running sneaker. I have plenty of running sneakers that I can beat up. Price? This is well worth the original retail price and if you get it on sale, you will be much happier.

Very disappointed about the insole change
Great shoes except for one thing... they've changed the insole. The insole used to be removable but now it's glued in. Being able to use custom insoles made the shoes very comfortable, now they're just your normal Onitsukas. I quit wearing the ultimate 81 bc of the glue in insole and it looks like I'll have to deal with the same thing in the Colorado. Bummer b/c these were my favorite sneakers.Switch back to removable insoles Onitsuka!

Classy, Comfortable, and Supportive.
I love Onitsuka Tiger's. I have found certain pairs to be a little too thin and unsupportive so I am pretty picky about the ones I do buy – they need to have support on the heel in particular. I was particularly pleased with my pair of Colorado's – they had plenty of support, fit great and looked great, and were very comfortable. These are on my list of regulars along with the Onitsuka Tiger Temp Racers.

Seem defective
What is a while ago, I still wear them regularly however there was inconsistencies in the fabric from one shoe to the other. Seem like they have been sitting for awhile and possibly dried out and the material was a bit compromised. One shoe was definitely different in the other field slightly enough that my daughter asked me what I did to my shoe..

Great shoes. Great brand.
Extremely comfortable, good support, and look great. The tread is unique and grips well, almost too well on some surfaces. I'm a big fan.Update: had them over a year now. They are even more comfortable now that they are broken in. The tread has held up well even with average use. Nothing has come unglued or frayed (like some other brands do). I'm very very happy with them. Will be ordering more just to make sure I have an extra pair!

I do not like when my shoes are so accommodating for my foot ...
This shoe fit true to size. I have wider feet, which is sometimes an issue, however, I do not like when my shoes are so accommodating for my foot width that they look ridiculous. While I would say this shoe is slimming, it has enough give for my wide feet. Most importantly, it looks great! Super sleek and can go well with nearly every casual outfit I put together as it does not stand out TOO much. The one thing I wasn't thrilled about was the sole. It was a little clunkier than I wanted. It doesn't look clunky, but at the time, I was just looking for something a bit slimmer. Additionally, the footbed is a little hard, not extremely comfortable right away, but this may be something that will form to me over time.
