Does a great job holding thick long hair tight. Seems to be made sturdy and of good quality.

I was pleasantly surprised by these hair clips. I have really thick and long hair and these held my hair up really well. It makes styling and parting my hair a lot easier and I think these are great for the price point.

Would give this item 5plus! I have been using plastic clips that loosen and don't work. These came packaged like a nice gift. Not only are they beautiful but heavier and are wonderful! Highly recommend!!!

These clips are strong enough to hold thick hair.

To smooth my frizzy curls, I dampen my hair and put velcro-style rollers in each morning. The smooth clips I had used to secure the rollers kept sliding out and onto the floor. The teeth in these clips solved that problem altogether.

I purchased these for their lovely colors and to use while styling my hair. I thought they would easily glide through my hair like other brands, but instead, I found myself poking my scalp more than once. I thought it was a coincidence until it happenned again, leaving me with a sore scalp. For reference, I switched to my other brand and had no issues, so it definitely was the design. As for the hold, they are fine if you do not have coarse hair, but I would recommend them only for those with fine hair, and definitely not for overnight styling. Nevertheless, they are light-weight, did come with extra little replcement bands for the inside, and the packaging was pretty as well as the clips.
