VION Tesla Model Y Roof Sunshades (Roof Sunshades and 2 Triangular Windows Sunshades) - Precision Fit, No Sagging - Fits 2024-2020 Model Y

I ordered this to put on my 2024 Tesla Model Y. I went through one summer without sun protection and I knew I needed something for the strong UV.I thought about getting the Tesla brand roof cover but it's always out of stock. This was recommended by Amazon and was a fraction of the price.I unboxed the product and it's neatly packaged in a bag so the shades are in perfect condition within the box. The clips that hold the shades up are in a small plastic box that is perfect for storing within the storage bag.I have not folded the product to store as I plan on keeping it up for a long time. So I can't speak on that part of the product.The shade is in two pieces. I definitely tried to put the front piece in the back and vice versa. I figured it out after trial and error, they are not marked front and back.It's easiest to put the clips on the shade then put the shade up in place. The process will take you about ten minutes but it is not hard at all.

I bought this October 2024 but did not open until recently, and found that it did not come with clips. I contacted Vion and sent me the clips free of charge. Best Customer service ever. Thank you, Luke for that! This is very easy to install, blends with the interior and really helps with the heat from the sun. Recommended!

The color blends seamlessly with the interior, and installation is quick and easy. My Model Y had an uneven gap in the roof liner. If yours does too, start by finding a spot where the clip fits in. That makes setting up the sunshade much easier. It only took about five minutes to install, and the overhead heat is noticeably reduced. A great upgrade for sunny drives!

This roof shade has reduced my cabin temperature by at least 15 degrees! And we’re not even in the peak of summer yet.Installation was quick (10 min tops!). Instructions were clear. That said the clips are a pain in the backside. They really should be adhered to the shades using either Velcro, threaded into the seam or some other method. I dropped so many clips while installing and even lost one behind the roof trim. No sagging of the shades either. They stay in place with no movement.Overall I’d recommend these despite the clips. I recommend just taking your time, and it may be helpful to have a second set of hands.

Covers 98% of the area that its supposed to, stays put, and is easy to remove/store. Installation is also simple with clips that sometimes need to be slid into place due to tight spacing between the glass roof and board.

Perfect fit, but be patient when you install it! Watch the video and take your time to line it all up. Still only took maybe 10 min to install. Really helps to keep the temperature down in car. Fantastic customer service as well. The clips where missing in my package, but after a quick email exchange, new clips where sent out by vendor asap. Well made shade at a great price!

It's fine. It wasn't difficult to install. I can still use the holder for the garage door opener that tucks under the trim as well. Only problem is the small side window shades don't fit, don't stay in place and are a complete waste of resources. I would rather have bought the roof shade alone for a lower price.
