This was a sort of impulse buy. The rotating balls are designed to cover just the instep (or you can move your foot around if you want to get the toes, but then you're partly out of the unit.)The heat can only be used when the massager is on (it has a separate switch, so heat is optional for warmer weather.) The motor shuts off automatically after 15 minutes, so if I just want to keep my feet warm, I have to keep restarting. I was at least as interested in keeping my feet comfy & warm as the massage, so a little disappointing I have to keep putting down my book to bend over & punch the buttons.The cord has a small power unit on the ply, and the cord to the unit looks quite thin (my phone uses a thicker charging cable.) I wonder how durable that will prove (though I haven't had any problems in one week of use.)

I bought this because I was so impressed with the Mynt back massagers. This one is so disappointing.The biggest issue is that it has only a single, circular massager for each foot. So there is no way to get your entire foot massaged at once. You have to keep repositioning your foot in order for different parts of it to get massaged. I can either get just the arch massaged, or just the palm, or just part of the heel.The little hood works alright for keeping your feet in place. But the hood is restrictive for bigger guys. I wear a size 12-12.5 shoe, and I cannot fit my foot deep enough into the unit in order to get my heels fully massaged.The lack of multiple massagers for each foot is a glaring oversight that makes this particular model not worth the money. I would suggest buying one of the ones that has multiple massagers (different manufacturer), and then some elastic or velcro bands to put around it to keep your feet from slipping off. This one is not worth it.

Updated 06/20/18. So I received this as a gift from my husband. It's good but it's hard to get my foot in the right spot. It's not really any different than the shiatsu back massager I have. My original review was 3 stars. I've updated my review to 4 based on the excellent customer service I received. Mynt's customer service team saw my original review and contacted me quickly. They wanted to know what exactly wasn't quite right and how they could make it better. It was hard to give them details, I just felt like I needed more something. The representative recommended a different model and sent me the link for the Tapping Foot Massager with Heat. This massager sounded like it was going to suit me much better and they offered to let me try it for free. Seriously, the other model is amazing! I'll be leaving a review on that one as well but what is even more amazing is the customer service. I've never had a company reach out to me and follow up with me multiple times to make sure I was 100% satisfied.

My original purchase left me dissatisfied . I returned the product . Sarah would not let me be unhappy , they followed up with me, modified the product and resent me a new product . I’m pleased with the modifications , but more impressed with the caring customer service

I hate socks, but my feet are permanently cold. This little device does a wonderful job of heating and massaging my feet while I work, whenever I need it!My only negative feedback is that you can't heat without the massage function active. I also wish that it was pressure activated so that you didn't have to bend over to switch it on and off.

This foot massager only does a small little section of your feet and it is slightly painful. Should have just spent the money on a good one- don't waste your money!

Very uncomfortable on the bottoms of the feet. Just not a good fit for the feet.

Not much heat... but it was not expensive.

Wife was skeptic, but has used it more when she needs to than people "think" they will use exercise bikes. I won't rub her feet enough for her.

Feels funny at first, but over time can be soothing. Longer cord would be nice.

I was disappointed to find that the heat function is very weak. I think my feet were warmer than the unit.

Bought this for my 77 year old mom who hasn't been able to walk or stand in over 5 years, I purchased this one and her feet and legs feel better and relieves pain.
