It’s a very soft fabric. It does block out light very effectively. It’s a good thickness without being too clunky. The size was perfect for my needs as I wanted a small space beneath so it wouldn’t drag and get dirty. I ordered the black one and it is a very solid color. It works perfect for what I wanted.It does come with creases so I threw it into the dryer for 10 minutes to get rid of all the folds.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These worked exactly as hoped for. I bought them because of size and price. They work great. I hung them using a tension rod and they were easy to thread on the rod. The color is as pictured. They are a great value and the quality seems great as well.

Love these curtains! Just enough weight, totally black-out and very nice material. I like with the two curtains looks fuller and the length is awesome!

Iinitially purchased these to block off my underground greenhouse during the winter. They are great! Very good quality, and I am looking at purchasing another pair if I can get them in white for the summer months. They are nice and thick. I needed a good quality drape to close off the cold air from the front door (it's an underground greenhouse, but it's still cold outside), and opening the door takes in all the cold air. These drapes not only look very nice, but also are thick enough I have been completely able to block off the cold air from opening the door in the frigid winter months from the planting area perfectly with these. My plants are thriving well with a temperature no lower than 70 degrees. These drapes are heavy enough to completely separate my plant area from where the door opens. Although my use is unusual for most, it is a very harsh environment. I would recommend these for any use. They are beautiful and nice thick material. I purchased black ones to absorb the sunlight, and they are doing that well. I am considering purchasing more in white for the summer months.

The quality is nice, the color is black enough, and they darken the room effectively but they are not blackout curtains. I do see some light coming through them.

Great curtain! True to size

I live in Phoenix and I have my large north facing sliding glass door that had vertical blinds when I moved in. Because the blinds had to span a 120 inches they were very cumbersome and did barely anything to stop the heat from radiating from the glass on 100 degree plus days. I found the best solution was thermal curtains with a recommendation for Joydeco blackout curtains for blocking heat. After installing the temp outside reached 98 degrees and when I enter the room the curtains were in, I did not feel the increase in temp that I have for the previous summers. The work better than I expected!
