Super Slush Cup- Single- Make slushies like magic just by shaking!

If you seen those Magic Ice or Slush Maker, this product is a cheap knock off. The label is silk-screened on or something because it fads after a good scrubbing/wash. Good there is a marker already molded on the cup, just need to locate it before pouring if the first marker fads away. If you need to give your are a workout, than use this product to work them out because you need to shake for awhile maybe 5 minutes straight to get a good slush out of it. Another thing, it is useless to have the straw/spoon unless you transfer the slush to another cup because the stupid magic cubes get in the way. The hole is stupid unless you want to slush sodas or carbonated drinks, which you have to stop after a few shakes and let the pressure out. I rather pay for the cubes alone so I can use my own container, because you can only make no more than 2 cups. If you do not make slushy, u got a quickly chilled drink.

I thought I was purchasing the AsSeenOnTV "Slushy Magic," to my dismay it wasn't what I had thought. First of all, in the REPETITIVE commercials, the cup is twice as large as the one I received. It's then that I realized that it wasn't the one I has seen on TV. Nevertheless, I received it, there was the cup, the spoon-straw, and the three SALT-WATER (Not Silicon; silicon is thick) cubes. One of the cubes has a dead bug in it. Though it was a little disgusting, I put them in the freezer, which took almost SIX hours to freeze. Salt-water does not freeze very quickly, and silicon doesn't freeze at all. They never got completely frozen. But enough to be quite cold. There was no instructions in the box, they were printed on the box. The commercial said it takes one minute to shake, the box says two minutes. You are supposed to put the cudes in first and pour in your drink to the mark on the cup. I twisted the lid on VERY tight, and put my finger over the hole (which is there to release carbonation, when using coke, etc). The hole is in a really odd spot, cause when you start to shake it, your finger slides off. Despite that, it leaked, and got all over everything, the sink, the floor, the rug, and counter. I ever tried, taping the hole, and it still leaked, not from the hole, but from around the lid. It just doesn't seal right. After a very tiring two minutes, it still was the consistency of slush, but it was far off. When you remove the cubes, and scrape them off of any slush residue, you get perhaps a HALF of CUP of the drink. Seriously? All the work and mess for a drink that was finished in just a few swallows. Don't buy this item, you will be greatly disappointed. Again, this is NOT the "Slushy Magic" that is advertised on TV. This is a copy. I would send it back, but I'm so disgusted with it, that it's just adding injury to injured.

My son wanted this for his birthday and gets used every day. We have no problem washing the cubes off and slushies come out perfect. We make carnation breakfast shakes and they come out perfect. Totally recommend and will be buying another one.

My 6 year old asked and asked for this. I was skeptical, but it thrills him to make his drinks slushy and they're a treat. Time out of my schedule? Less than 2 minutes. Yes, it's pretty old school to just put your finger over the hole and shake. Whatever - it works. Just remember to rinse off the "ice cube" packets and put back in the freezer.

This works amazingly. The first time. After that the cubes loose durability and leak. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

I bought this for my grandson for christmas last year, he had seen it advertised on TV and asked for it from Santa. It works and is so easy to use. In fact he showed ME how to use it after Santa gave it to him :-)

does not really make a slushy - but they work well as reusable ice cubes
