Holds long heavy curtains well, glides so smoothly
I have long heavy, lined curtains in a 350cm wide bay. My previous plastic curtain rails (put up by builders during renovation) were not up to the job. I finally had enough of having to put the rails back up too many times and decided to go for metal rails. I was concerned whether they would be able to hold my curtains - they are very heavy. These rails are perfect. They hold the curtains without problem and I am amazed at how easily and smoothly they glide. The instillation was a little tricky. They come with a sheet of instructions which, apart from the print being too small, are clear and understandable. Because I am not much good at DIY I took care to read through the instructions carefully and followed them exactly on where to place the brackets, the distance from the curve and how to bend the rail. I took it slowly and carefully, reading step by step and it worked!! I think I was more surprised than anyone.Even though I say so myself they look professional, great quality and do exactly what is required. I wish I had bought these ages ago and saved myself a load of hassle.

Works well, needs a lot of brackets
Pluses:+ Works well -- smooth, quiet+ Cheaper than a good quality pole+ Reading other reviews, works a lot better than most of the bay window poles you can buy: The C-ring poles seem to get bad reviews for sticking at the corners or rings falling off. The O-ring poles either mean you have to have a separate curtain in the middle or two brackets at each end (the O-rings won't pass the second bracket). Either way, less light in the daytime.+ Comes with screws and wall plugsMinuses:- Because the rail is quite thin (so you can bend it without a special tool) you need quite a few support brackets to hold it up. Some people might find that ugly. I think it's worse in my case because I used the double-curtain brackets (separate item) to move the curtains away from the window by an inch or two, and I think those brackets are a bit ugly to look at when the curtains are drawn (you'll be looking at the underside with the plastic spring components visible).- Not too difficult but quite a lot of work to put up but then that's probably true for any way of hanging curtains on a bay windowTips:* When bending the rail, move it from side to side by a few inches in either direction around centre of bend, to avoid a too-sharp bend -- look on youtube. Don't forget to put the bending rods in before bending it.* 40 gliders is enough, but I'm glad I bought extra, you can't have too many and they'll go missing over the years of course* The rail comes in two pieces with a joiner for the middle* It's easy to strip the paint off it when you clip it onto the brackets, try not to do it too often - easier said than done. You have to clip most of them on at the same time.* To put it up, apart from a drill you'll need a hacksaw, a small vice and some lubricant for the joiner (they suggest furniture polish, oil will do)* If you're putting it up on plasterboard you might need to put up a batten or use some sort of expanding wall plug - no different to any other rod/rail

Great Value for Money
This curtain track was so easy to install. I needed it to be very long so I bought the widest measurement available. It came in two parts that needed to be joined together which was not big deal. It’s very sturdy and it’s made our curtains look 10x better.I don’t know if it’s common knowledge or if I was just clueless but I had bought a pair of eyelet curtains which weren’t meant to be used for a curtain track. I still made it work though lol. But for those who don’t know, pencil pleat curtains would be the best option. You’re welcome.

You get what you pay for
Flimsy. Doesn’t glide well. Would have been better to have paid more for better quality

Very good value for money
Very good value for money. A good sturdy track, nice and secure. Instructions are good and easy to understand. Have fitted many tracks over the years and this is by far the deat I have used. Far superior to these rubbish plastic tracks many suppliers use.

Good curtain rail, read the instructions!
Happy with the product, note: make sure you use both plastic packing rods before you bend the rails to fit to bay windows. Installation was a bit of a pain as I only used one of them and I crushed the track part where the wheels run along and had to hammer it in to shape so the curtains didnt get stuck.Overall happy with the product.

Perfect for my requirements. Beware delivery options
Updated Review: As stated I have indeed purchased more of these tracks and paid extra for the express delivery. I have since been told that it is not possible to have express delivery on this item as they are too long, so over the size the courier will accept for that service. It is still offered as an option at checkout, though, so be aware that you cannot order this track for short notice delivery. Mine took a week. Still love the track.Moved into a house with bay windows and these have been just the job. The main thing I wanted was for the curtains to be able to come to the outside of the bay when open, for maximum light and these were the only ones I found that would do outside bends as well as inside. Easy to fit (taking notice of another reviewer's advice to bend over the thigh and not the knee) and the curtains run really smoothly. The little magnet on the middle two hangers is a particularly nice feature as it makes sure the curtains stay closed right to the top. Will certainly be buying more when dealing with the other windows in my house.
