This is a gorgeous piece of jewelry. It’s not as heavy as it looks but substantial. I’ve worn it since I got it with no problems.The chain is longer & very nice. I’ve had no problems with twisting or any of that. I wear many necklaces stacking them. This fits in perfectly without tangling with the others.The eagle is substantial but light. The engraving & carving is beautiful. Lots of ornate detail.I’ve searched for a very long time for the giver of consciousness (eagle) pendant that I liked. I’ve seen many. This is the first I’ve chosen to own. It’s not too heavy or too light, it’s just right. It feels good under the fingers. I kind of love it.

My husband is known to wear a lot of unique and even large necklaces. He also wears smaller more subtle jewelry. He loves eagles and I got this for him.SIZEThe eagle is a bit on the small side. If you look at the photos put up by the seller, you can see the size of the eagle. It is nice to wear under a shirt for a nice pendant which is interesting but not so big that it is ostentatious. It is good for smaller guys but may get lost on larger guys.CHAINThe chain is a little bit thinner than a usual men's chain. Honestly, I think this is just a little bit too dainty for a men's necklace. Still it is wearable and looks okay. My husband is not quite as fond of this chain as others he has and wears.QUALITYThe quality of this necklace otherwise is good. It is attractive and looks nice. I can not speak about long time wear and how long the finish will last and if it will wear off like some metals do.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a nice gift, but the chain is a bit thin for a man's necklace.MY RATINGFOUR STARS. I prefer sturdier chains on a necklace like this. I still like it, but am not quite as impressed with it as I had hoped. I still recommend it as long as you are aware of the chain issue.
