Interesting idea, but did not work for me
Interesting idea, but did not work for me. The trap failed twice, the bait was knocked off into the bucket, but no mouse... the trap also failed to "reset" in the upright position. Unfortunately I went on vacation and now past the 30 day return period.

Magnet is to strong for smaller mice
This trap does work for larger mice well. When I first set it up my small mouse was eating the bait without being caught. A piece of duct tape over the magnet weakened the hold on the plank enough that I was able to trap it.
