Need new bolt M8-1.25 for product to fit
Worked great after buying a new nut M8-125 at Lowe’s. I’m glad they have a sizing chart, you can test the nut and make sure it’s the correct size at Lowe’s. Needed to use a flat head screwdriver since a ratchet would not fit to tighten. Over all it did its job.

Unlatches hood
Pleased with the performance thus far. Just installed last evening. Had to grind down the diameter of the factory nut with washer because the area where the bolt comes through to attach to vehicle was too small. The pictures show original damaged latch on left and new one on right.
