Worked well, installation instructions were generic and poorly written.

This allowed me to use a 8 amh battery on our dyson so now we can vacuum complete house including area rugs which we could not do on factory battery charge. We also can do our house three times before needing a charge.Con is we have to remove battery to use Dewault charger, and the wall holder for dyson no longer will work.

When I received the item I was excited to get my Dyson working again. But the adapter does not fit into the intended slot

I need to replace my DeWalt batteries for work every year or two, but the older batteries do well, they just don’t hold the charge as long. As I don’t use them at work, now, I utilize them on my two Dyson V6 vacuums. In my personal opinion, the factory batteries for this particular model are the Achilles heel. Depending on your age, you may need to Google that last bit of reference.

I have a similar conversion kit for a Dyson vacuum and I love the concept. A 20v Dewalt battery lasts much longer, and can be swapped out instantly for a fully charged battery.my only issue with the Powilling V6 Battery Adapter is that it just seems a bit less well-made than alternatives.It only attaches with one screw in the handle, versus others that attach in both OE locations, making me wonder if it will stand the test of time.When I retire a Dyson handheld, it ends up in the shop or in the trunk. A more confident mounting system would be beneficial, but overall it does what its supposed to.
