SANODESK SD2 Standing Height-Adjustable Children's Study Desk - Ergonomic 112×60cm (White)

High quality material used, easy to build. So far very happy with purchase (bought at £200). Also quicker than expected delivery.

I bought the white version of this desk for my children to do crafts/homework etc on as I liked that the height could be lowered for younger children and the 100cm width was better for our space than the more common 120cm desk width. I also preferred the "rounder/softer" look of the cylindrical legs and feet than the usual legs/feet that come on other adjustable desks. I needed a desk that didn't look like kids' bedroom/playroom furniture as it would be in a shared/visible area of the house where I wanted to maintain some level of grown-up style. I looked around a lot before ordering before deciding on this desk, and I am happy with it.The desk arrived neatly packaged and all the components felt good quality. The instructions were reasonably easy to follow and the desk wasn't too difficult to assemble. Some screws used the allen keys (included) but you do need an electric drill to screw the desktop to the stand. All the holes aligned perfectly and there was no splintering.The height adjustment is easy and smooth. It is mains powered and comes with both a UK plug and a European plug.I'm using the desk at the moment writing this review. The size and height is perfectly comfortable for an adult, although the highest height setting isn't quite enough to be used by an adult as a standing desk. Kids could use it as a standing desk though.Due to the desktop being attached to the frame through the middle of the desk (as opposed to having conventional four legs) and the horizontal steel supports under the desktop being quite short (they don't go all the way to the front and back of the desktop), there is some minor movement on the desktop when I lean on the front edge or when I type (I am quite an aggressive typist). This can cause slight vibration of any items on the desk e.g. laptop. It's not a "fault", it's just the nature of the frame. If I move my laptop closer to the centre of the desktop rather than to the front, there is no wobble when I type. In any case, the movement/wobble isn't enough to be a problem for me or the kids but it is the one thing I would improve on the desk... the supports under the desktop just need to be longer, and/or the legs need to be less far back.Overall, it's a good quality, nice-looking desk that can be used by young children or adults (but not for adults who want a standing desk). I only bought one desk initially to check the quality and appearance, but I plan to buy another so that my kids can have one each.

A very good, sturdy desk. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that building it up wasn’t particularly easy and the instructions are worse than useless, at some points you have to figure it out for yourself.Worth the effort as it’s a good desk.

Finally, a standing desk perfect for short people. I am 5’1’’ / 158cm and have been looking for a table where I can sit and stand. So I needed a desk that can be adjusted to 58cm and 88cm. And since it’s a small desk, I can easily put it in smaller rooms too.It was very easy to put it together. Compared to adult standing desks, it is lighter. This means I can move it around easily. It is sturdy, but just not as sturdy as the heavier desks.I am going to buy another one for my partner.
