Lightweight, Duel fuel, Quiet, Name Brand, Easy to maintain
Duel fuel and a brand name make the difference! This little beauty really saves me during power outages which we have lots of. And now I will be much more confident during the Florida hurricane season. No gas for me, I prefer propane and this Inverter makes it simple and easy. It's quiet and runs all night, keeping the refrigerator running and charges my passthrough battery at the same time, which runs a little a/c unit in the bedroom. All in all, this is a fantastic little Inverter/generator. Thank you Westinghouse for making solid and reliable equipment!

Easy to start, use and ultra quiet.
Well packaged and easy instructions for set up. The compact size works great for our small business. First time to using it started on the fourth pull and ran two large fans in economy mode without any issues. The generator was placed approximately six feet from us and we were able to talk to our customers without having to raise our voice. A fellow vendor saw our fans, asked questions about the generator and purchased one while we were still at the crafts fair. Wish we were a wholesaler, we could have sold many that day. Plenty of power and easy to transport.

Outstanding Dual Fuel Inverter Generator – Reliable, Quiet, and Versatile!
I recently purchased the Westinghouse iGen2550DFC Dual Fuel Inverter Generator, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Whether you're preparing for a power outage, camping off-grid, or just need backup energy for tools or appliances, this unit delivers reliable performance with impressive features.Power & Dual Fuel FlexibilityOne of the standout features is its dual fuel capability—you can run it on either gasoline or propane. This gives incredible flexibility during emergencies when fuel availability might be unpredictable. Switching between fuels is quick and easy, and both modes provide consistent, clean power.Quiet & EfficientThe iGen2550DFC runs surprisingly quiet for a generator of this size, thanks to its inverter technology. It’s perfect for use in residential areas or campsites where noise can be an issue. Plus, the fuel efficiency is excellent—it ran for hours on a single tank of gas, and even longer with a 20-lb propane tank.Clean Power for Sensitive ElectronicsThis generator produces clean, stable electricity, which makes it safe for sensitive devices like laptops, smartphones, and medical equipment. That peace of mind alone is worth the investment.Portable & Easy to UseAt around 50 lbs, it’s lightweight and compact, with a convenient carrying handle. Starting it up is a breeze with the recoil start—I had it running in just a couple of pulls even on propane. The control panel is intuitive, with clear displays for output, fuel level, and run time.Great Value & DependabilityWestinghouse has built a reputation for dependable generators, and this model lives up to that name. The iGen2550DFC offers fantastic value, especially considering the dual fuel capability, inverter technology, and overall build quality.Final Verdict:If you’re looking for a compact, quiet, and fuel-flexible inverter generator, the iGen2550DFC should be at the top of your list. It’s an excellent choice for home backup, travel, or worksite use. Highly recommended!

Westinghouse Inverter Generator / Satisfaction
I find my Westinghouse iGen2550DFc Dual Fuel Portable Inverter Generator to be well built and reliable. I can get it to start on the first or second pull and it runs very quietly, reasonably light enough for easy transport and easy to set up. I'm running on propane, and still in the test phase and the output is grate and all works as advertised. Thanks Guys.

Great engineering! Good price point!
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Dual-Fuel Inverter Generator – Smart, Reliable, and Well-Designed!I’ve owned several generators over the years, and this one is hands-down my favorite. This inverter generator is extremely well-built, packed with thoughtful features, and priced fairly for the quality. The smart design really stands out: it includes 20 and 30 amp breakers, a carbon monoxide detector, low oil shut-off, and overload protection, making it both safe and reliable. I also love the LED-backlit control panel, which is super convenient in low-light conditions. The dual-fuel capability is a huge plus, and features like the fuel line shut-off and carburetor bowl drain screw with hose show the attention to detail in its design. Everything feels sturdy and well-engineered. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a dependable, feature-rich generator! (In typical Westinghouse fashion, it even comes with an electric schematic, tool kit and contact info for replacement parts -nicely done)

Another great Westinghouse generator!
This is my third Westinghouse Generator and I've been extremely happy with all three! Why? Because, like my other generators, this one just reliably does the job. I love that it's dual fuel. I plan to never introduce gasoline to it so that I never have to worry about gummed up carburetors.I used this one for a camping trip recently for my travel trailer. It powered everything, from the microwave to the Air conditioner. I will say, it sometimes took 3-4 pulls to get started, but once it got going, it stayed going. It's a great value, and the noise level is impressively low (as you'd expect from an inverter generator like this).

Great small job site generator.
Generator is lightweight for its rating, and seems well built. I have two other larger IGen from Westinghouse. I can throw it in back of truck and take to a job site in a hurry. I bought a 10lb propane bottle which it will run all day off of. It does idle a bit rough if there is not load on it, and even more so in Eco mode. Dont think it would not be smooth if powering a light load in a campground for example. Factory stated that Eco mode is only for small appliances, but it seems to run best when a small heater, pump, or power tool is drawing power. Under those conditions it is great. It is also quiet for a generator, and started easily.
